This wood box, a fine piece of art made by Kay Bojesen, also serves a utilitarian purpose as a string dispenser. It has a small, cream colored plastic opening for the string. Please see photos for details. Condition: The bottom of the box should open for the replacement of the string but it is stuck closed, I do not want to force it. This is only important if you choose to use it as a string dispenser instead of the fine art that it is. Measurements: 4 3/8″ high x 4 1/2″ diameter. Thank you for viewing my listing. RARE 1950s French mid century modern table. Wrought iron, red lacquered wood and laminated cord. Red lacquered top has some superficial scratches and several small (tiny) paint loss areas.
