Designed by the legendary Finnish master architect Alvar Aalto, its undulating, organic asymmetrical form is universally celebrated as a milestone in 20th-century glass art. This is a highly collectable, early production example dating from the 1960s to 1970s. The underside base features the genuine, beautifully crisp hand-engraved diamond-point signature: “Alvar Aalto – 3030″. This is the highly desirable and rarer 20 cm large version, which commands a major premium over smaller modern iterations. Mouth-blown/mold-blown by master artisans in Finland, the heavy cased opaline white glass creates a spectacular play of light across its organic waves. 20 cm (200 mm) as verified by the measurement photos. Max Width: Approx. 21 cm across the widest curve. Authenticity: Fully hand-signed to the base. No machine acid etching or stickers, confirming its early vintage status. Condition: Excellent vintage pre-owned condition. The glass body is exceptionally bright, glossy, and pristine with no disfiguring chips, cracks, structural flea bites, internal water scaling, or repairs.
