In 1945, Wiinblad graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and that same year he debuted with a comprehensive exhibition in the small Binger gallery in Palægade in Copenhagen. Wiinblad held his first ever exhibition at the Copenhagen Binger gallery. Based on the exhibition’s popularity, Wiinblad began collaborating with Haandarbejdets Fremme. Vintage Rare Original 70s Mid Century Modern Arne Jacobsen & Georg Christensen Danish Modern Wall Clock – Denmark. Clock and box are in Excellent Condition! Rare, Original, Danish made, 1971 Mid Century Modernist Arne Jacobsen and Georg Christensen Aluminum and Convex Glass Wall Clock. The clock was designed for the Danish National Bank in 1971. Made of Aluminum with a Convex Glass face. Single AA Battery powered Quartz Movement. The clock was made in two editions. One (like this one) had Georg Christensen’s name on the face The other edition said Arne Jacobsen on the face, as they both collaborated on the design. Later re-editions of this clock, in 2000, only were produced with designer Arnie Jacobsen’s name on the face. I believe the re-editions were made in Germany. On the bottom of the face, of this clock, it says Made in Denmark. Each hour is indicated by the filled in black box in a row of boxes. Elegant long hands with a center red dot at the vortex. The designer tag and logo is on the back of the clock. 30 cm D x 4 cm Deep. In VERY nice vintage pre-owned condition. Normal wear commensurate with age. 19″W × 2″D × 12H. Vintage, Antique or Pre-owned. Good Condition, Original Condition Unaltered, Some Imperfections.

This Has to be the best signed Lardis Lonborg teak peppermill out there! It is beautifully turned with a great design topped off with a sphere. It stands an impressive 12 inches tall. It looks to be an excellent condition with no problems at all. The teak has mellowed to a beautiful, dark, reddish tone. It is vintage, not new, out of an estate. I took pictures at all angles, so nothing is hidden.

LAURIDS LONBORG DANISH MODERN TEAK OWL MID CENTURY MODERN BOJESEN FIGURINE. The owl has some black marks on his back and appears to have some white paint on the base. Offered for your review and consideration is this absolutely magnificent, mid-20th century, Laurids Lonborg vintage lathe-turned teak body and either maple or birch hardwood eye sockets, ears and nose, highly stylized Modernist wooden owl, carved figure. It features black beaded eyes and a soft, bulbous teak body. The eye sockets, ears and nose are routered and inserted into drilled out recesses in the teak body and affixed with adhesive glue. The birch or maple hardwood eye sockets have a concave profile and an interior round darker wood, perhaps walnut, upon which the black beaded eyes sit. The birch or maple nose and ears are carved out on their lower forms.

RARELY SEEN 1960s SCANDIA BAR CABINET by EXTENSOLE of SPARTA, MICHIGAN. Extensole was established as a Fine Arts Studio in 1936 and was best known for its console and drop-leaf tables. Original polished brass drawer pulls. Bar sits on 4-inch platform base. Slide out cocktail prep table. Interior features a single slide out drawer which is missing one of its easy to replace dividers as shown in one of the photos. The bar measures 32 inches wide by 18 inches deep… Stands 30 inches tall. Another one you will not find.

Original tribal geometric mid century Danish reversible rug woven exclusively for Bloomingdale’s in Denmark. Excellent conditon for its age! Tag itself has some mild damage and wear as shown. One tiny stain can be seen in photo 15. Displays well and is guaranteed old/original. Dimensions and condition shown in photos.
