CERVE Elephants Tumbler Glasses. This listing is for a set of. Glasses from Italian glassmaker Cerve. Variety of gorgeous jewel color tones – pictures do not do them justice! Hand painted – tremendous detail and craftsmanship. Great for highballs, cocktails, iced tea, water, etc. Measure 5.5″ tall and 3.5″ across rim. Substantial glasses weigh 14 oz. Very good vintage condition – no chips or cracks.

Highly collectible, Sterling artist, Salvador Teran Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Modernist Earrings Antique RARE. Salvador Teran Silver Dangle Earrings Mid Century. Large architectural modernist dangle earrings by Mexican designer, Salvador Teran. 2 long from the top to bottom. Salvador Terán was an outstanding designer and silversmith, and like many of his contemporaries, received his early training at William Spratling’s Taller de Las Delicias. In 1939, he and his cousins left Spratling to establish Los Castillo. They remained with the company for thirteen years working anonymously. Then in 1952, Salvador decided to leave and establish a taller in Mexico City where he employed twenty-five designers. The body of work that flowed from his workshop found inspiration in pre-Columbian motifs. However Salvador’s interpretations were unique, with exuberate forms in overlapping planes, resulting in pieces with great movement. Please see photos for normal wear condition. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage fiberglass tray manufactured by Boltabest. Not certain if this is a George Nelson design. The surface is in black and white, and it features abstract shapes throughout (see photos). The underside of the tray is brown, and it has the Boltabest logo embossed on the back (again, see photos). We’ve seen plenty of these trays over the years, but we’ve never run across this particular design. It’ll be a nice addition to any modern interior setting. 20.25″ wide x 15″ deep. Condition: The tray is in good condition, but not perfect. There are light superficial scratches over the top surface; however, it still displays nicely. The corners of the tray show some discoloration. We have not done anything in an attempt to clean or treat the tray to see if they’d come out, so we’re uncertain whether they will or not. The brown underside of the tray shows some scratching as well from previous surfaces that it has come into contact with over the years. There’s also some white discoloration on the underside – again, we haven’t cleaned the tray – these may or may not come out. All sales are final. Rare MCM Japan Ikebana CERAMIC VASE VINTAGE MID CENTURY MODERN 15.7″ x 6.6″ and 2.2 high. No chips or marks. I have tried to give you a lot of pictures to survey this fine ceramic. It has a very cool pockmarked exterior where some of the underlying ceramics shows through the glaze with a nice pink hue. You can see that it also is tapered and clearly is partially handmade as it is slightly asymmetric : this looks giftable and has a marking on the bottom that I can’t recognize of a Japanese character.

A really rare sculpture of a monkey in ceramic designed by Gunnar Nylund at Rörstrand with a lovely glaze. It is 21 x 14 cm (8,4″ x 5,6) and 16 cm (6,4″) high. It is in mint condition and comes with the original wooden base. Gunnar Nylund was born in Paris 1904 with parents who worked as sculptors and designer so he really soon started hos own career as designer for the Danish brand Bing & Grondahl where he worked until 1928. After that he together with Nathalie Krebs established the ceramics workshop Saxbo in Denmark. In 1931, Gunnar Nylund was then asked to start working for Rörstrand in Lidköping, Sweden. He worked there until 1955, most of the time as artistic director. After Gunnar Nylund Carl-Harry Stålhane became the artistic director for Rörstrand. Gunnar Nylund freelanced for Rörstrand for many years after 1955.
