The Gerald Thurston Lightolier 1960s MCM Rare Beige Mushroom Lamp is a vintage table lamp with a unique Mid-Century Modern style. These pieces balance perfectly so unless the lamp is bumped into they will stay in place. There is a part of the shade where there is a slight crack which appears to be a bit melted. ITEM : For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing and rare vintage space age lamp. Materials: Chrome, Acrylic, Wood. There are fifteen (15) metal spokes that radiate outward and downward from the top, and they each end at staggered heights. At the end of each of these spokes is a clear round acrylic ball (see photos). Contained within there are three sockets encased in chrome shells (again, see photos). There is an on/off rotary knob switch embedded into the front of the wooden base, and it allows the lamp to have three-way functionality: either one, two, or all three lights can be lit up depending on how much light you desire. We are uncertain as to the maker of this beauty as there are no tags or labels present. It’s a definite statement piece that’ll look great in any modern interior setting! MEASUREMENTS : The lamp stands approx. 41″ tall x 18″ wide x 18 deep. The black wooden base measures 6 cubed. Each of the fifteen (15) acrylic balls measure approx. The three light sockets are set at staggering heights from the base – the lowest being 12″, then 16″ and finally 17.5 high. CONDITION : Very good condition – no breaks, bends, rust, oxidation, pitting, etc. The chrome could benefit from a gentle cleaning / polishing, but it does display nicely in its current state. One of the acrylic balls has an area on it where it looks like it began to melt from an excessively hot bulb. This ball can be turned to face the back, and it can also be rotate on its metal spoke so that it isn’t seen. The wood base shows some minor color loss along the edges, and there are some tiny white specks on it – probably from when someone was painting. The white specks also appear on the round wooden disc at the very top of the lamp (see photos). Wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it’s in great shape – there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use. ITEM : For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage ceramic teardrop-shaped hanging swag light fixture. The fixture takes a small decorative style lightbulb. Suitable for all interior settings. NOTE : We have a second matching fixture in pretty much the same condition that we will be listing separately once this one sells. Approx 17″ tall (not including the round metal hanging loop at the top) x 5.5″ deep x 5.5 wide. The round opening on the front surface is approx. 3.5 in diameter. CONDITION : Very good, all-original condition. There are no breaks, cracks, chips, repairs, etc. There are some very mild discoloration marks on the ceramic – we have not made any attempts to clean them, so we are uncertain as to whether or not they’ll come out. They are really negligible, but being mentioned for accuracy. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and it is free from having any issues – no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Galleons of the sea. It’s a beautiful painting my grandmother gave me it is an original painting by Van Gaard studio and is signed on the bottom. A very large painting perfect for large rooms it’s 54 inches horizontal and about 30 inches vertical. Richly colored in shades of orange, gold, and black. Signed Van Gaard in the lower corner. Van Guard Studios was owned and operated by artist Lee Reynolds Burr. Vanguard produced “original” paintings by in-house artists which were signed Van Gaard, Stuart, or Reynolds. Artists at Vanguard Studios duplicated original paintings. Backgrounds were painted in acrylic and then line-work was silk-screened from the master copy. Details were then added to the screened lines to create a raised effect. The finished product was then sprayed with an oil sealer, creating an “original” oil painting. This is a very large, framed painting that measures approximately 54″ wide x 30″ tall (including the frame). Colors are bright and vibrant.

It is extremely hard to find this color Bitossi bird. And it is in amazingly beautiful condition. Measures 8.5″ long, 5.75″ tall, and 4 wide. There is no damage to the piece. There is a tiny indent on the corner end of the tail, but this was from when it was made; it was glazed over and fired. RARE ARTHUR UMANOFF MID CENTURY MODERN. ROUND STOOL BLACK VINYL. From 11/25 until 11/30. Any orders taken place during that time period will be processed when I return. Arthur Umanoff and his Stools. Umanoff stools, particularly from the Mid Century (1950’s-1960’s) are highly sought after by collectors. I believe the spindles on this example are made out of walnut. When I found this example, it had been in storage for a number of years. I haven’t even taken the dust off of this. It did have a few small paint smudges on it that have since been removed, (bottom of pic 1) & the tiniest piece of vinyl missing on the top. Usually when I find these they are almost always cracked, this example is the most solid of this stool I’ve ever seen. Design Philosophy and Materials. Umanoff’s designs championed natural materials and sought to merge form and function. He was particularly known for his innovative use of wrought iron, often combined with wood or rattan, creating pieces like his iconic Slat Bench and various stools. His work was influenced by Scandinavian design, especially the Danish modern style.
