Really stunning Japanese MCM Teak & Pewter fish platter. I have not seen this version in the past. It has a different head and tail than most. It is approximately 26.5″ long and 6.5″ wide. It weighs approximately 2 pounds. It has 4 rubber feet. It is in excellent condition and appears to have never been used. No scratches from use at all. Please see photos and reach out with questions.

Rare vintage 1960s carved oak architectural wall panel (currently in 3 pieces). We have another one listed separately (see last picture). Very unique and rare, I could only find two other examples like this piece, one was on a vintage furniture dealers page with no information other that it was 1960s. The other example I found was a wall panel in the Weifels Mortuary, formerly the Desert Chapel in Palm Springs, designed by Albert Frey in 1963. When pieces are together to create the full panel it is 77 1/2″ by 27 1/4″ and 3/4 depth. Weighs 19 lbs 6 oz. It was split into 3 pieces, they do line up very well and wood only need some wood glue and clamps for repair, or you could keep them separate and do whatever creative thing you have in mind for them. The largest of the 3 panels had a crack which was repaired with wood adhesive. Please see pictures for details and condition.

An intriguing mid-century bull sculpture believed to be of German origin and dating to the 1960s. Crafted from what appears to be a pottery and stone composite material, it features a richly textured surface with decorative details that appear to have been burned into the design. The eyes are believed to be accented with 24k gold leaf. Height: 7.5. Width (horn to horn): 6.5. Depth: 1.5. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. This vintage piece shows wear consistent with age, including chips and losses to the horns, wear to portions of the face and edges, and a small area of chipping along the edge of the face when viewing the sculpture from the front left side. Please examine the horns, sides of the face, underside, and all photographs closely. There is writing on the underside that is difficult to read, as well as an illegible burned signature or maker’s mark on the reverse.

ITEM : For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing and rare vintage space age lamp. Materials: Chrome, Acrylic, Wood. There are fifteen (15) metal spokes that radiate outward and downward from the top, and they each end at staggered heights. At the end of each of these spokes is a clear round acrylic ball (see photos). Contained within there are three sockets encased in chrome shells (again, see photos). There is an on/off rotary knob switch embedded into the front of the wooden base, and it allows the lamp to have three-way functionality: either one, two, or all three lights can be lit up depending on how much light you desire. We are uncertain as to the maker of this beauty as there are no tags or labels present. It’s a definite statement piece that’ll look great in any modern interior setting! MEASUREMENTS : The lamp stands approx. 41″ tall x 18″ wide x 18 deep. The black wooden base measures 6 cubed. Each of the fifteen (15) acrylic balls measure approx. The three light sockets are set at staggering heights from the base – the lowest being 12″, then 16″ and finally 17.5 high. CONDITION : Very good condition – no breaks, bends, rust, oxidation, pitting, etc. The chrome could benefit from a gentle cleaning / polishing, but it does display nicely in its current state. One of the acrylic balls has an area on it where it looks like it began to melt from an excessively hot bulb. This ball can be turned to face the back, and it can also be rotate on its metal spoke so that it isn’t seen. The wood base shows some minor color loss along the edges, and there are some tiny white specks on it – probably from when someone was painting. The white specks also appear on the round wooden disc at the very top of the lamp (see photos). Wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it’s in great shape – there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use. Designer & Origin: Created by Hungarian industrial artist László Pécsi and produced by the state-owned Koszeg and Szombathely Home Textile & Upholstery Company (LakásTEXtil Vállalat). Design: Features a stylized, cubist depiction of working women in a red and brown/purple color palette. Striking MCM Gold Spangled Black Metal Candle Stand Abstract Cubist Color Sculpture Unsigned This wonderful but unidentified piece with both striking shapes and colors is an iconic MCM Abstract Cubist Metal Sculpture and Candle Holder. Believed to date from the 1950s. A solid piece in very good condition for its age and use. ! Colors: Gold Spangled Black, Matte Green, a smokey Matte Cream White, a dark Orangey Metallic Copper Red and a Metallic less coppery Red. I found it impossible to do justice to the metallic glow in my photographs. Representative of the Atomic Era, with very earthy colors! Condition: Mid Century Modernism. Here and there are some small bumps or dents that appear to be from the time of manufacture as they do not show any greater wear than the surrounding areas. In excellent condition with no loose parts. There may be minor edge wear on the paint of some of the abstract shapes – but that may also simply be from the time this piece was created. I have not found another like it to compare it to. A beautiful piece, deeply reflective of the avant garde abstract movement period when it was created. Total Height: 17 1/2 inches 5 Candle holder’s heights from base: 17, 15 1/2, 13 1/2, 12, and 10 inches. Base is rectangular with rounded corners. Base Width 21 inches Base Depth: 4 inches Base height: 1/2 inch Candle holder bowl: 3 3/4 inches across Weight: 4 pounds 1 oz , There is a Gold sticker and a sticker with a Caution on the bottom of the base. The designer/ sculptor/ maker in unknown. While various manufacturers have used similar phrasing, this specific gold-foil sticker with the text This product made with safe paint. It seems iconic for the time period and yet I have not yet found another like it.
