Vintage UFO Panasonic SPT-501 Home Speaker. Atomic Early 1960s Panasonic SPT-501 Deluxe Speaker. Hard to find early 1960s UFO style speaker box. Made by Panasonic Matsuhita, National Osaka, Japan. This is a convertible speaker box that is made from modern plastic, that can be connected to a radio. The speaker measures approximately 8 3/4 inches in diameter and is 5 3/4 inches in height on 3 inch gilt legs. Comes with its original flexible cord, But based on other speakers I have looked at the cord appears to be missing a connector. This is vintage electronica that has not been tested. There are some mars scratches and blemishes, wear consistent with age. The gold band on the bottom has some scratches. If you look inside the unit from the bottom, it appears that a speaker may have a tear. I do not know if it works. I did not hook up the speakers to an external audio source.
