Eclectic table lamp “Athena”, a patented design created by Georgia Jacob in the 80s. In the rare and more difficult to find green color. Athena is one of the versions in the series Coqueluche and Ophelie lamps. It comes with the iconic draped lampshade that creates a beautiful and warm ambient glow. In conjunction with the marble base, the light green color lampshade made of resin to look like fabric (it even has a linen-like texture) adds vintage charm and elegance to any room. It is in good condition, a French vintage piece, with some signs of age (see photos. Some scuffs, some discoloration) but overall still lovely and very clean. The switch is located on the cable, it works with a small screw-in bulb (not included). When lit, it diffuses a very soft, subdued light. Athena lamp appears in contemporary art and music, like the video of the song “Un jour je marierai un ange” by Pierre de Maere 2022. It has a Euro standard plug and works outside EU with the included US adapter. Approximate measurements: Tall: 16 1/2″ Wide: 9″ Thanks for viewing my post! This vintage Jaru Pottery in gold m swan figurine, made in California in 1980, is a beautiful piece of mid-century modern art pottery. Measuring 13.5 inches in height, 10.5 width this glossy ceramic swan features a solid color design with a glossy gold. Signed by Jaru, this original figurine embodies the late 20th-century theme of birds and is a unique addition to any decorative pottery and glassware collection. A true representation of the artistry and craftsmanship of the sculpture, signed and dated 1980. I’ve only seen mine in gold, VERY RARE! Looks incredible with the other large gold infinity statue I have.

Offered for sale: Vintage TOM GREENE Midcentury Modernist Brutalist Metal Sculpture Signed RARE. This is a RARE find. Could be one if a kind!! Measures approximately 15.5 inches tall x 3.5 wide mounted on a fabulous square base. Makers mark on back panel of square. Back panel marked: ” 11-9 copy-write J 5-69″. Item is used and in good condition. Shows normal signs of wear consistent with age. Small scuffs, light scratches, etc. The is a slight bend in the stem. Not sure if this is how it was supposed to be. This can easily be straightened but I will leave this for its new owner to decide. Comes from a smoke and pet free home. Item: Vintage Tom Green Brutalist Sculpture. 15.5″ Tall x 3.5″ wide. Style: MCM, Brutalist, Modern.

This is the quintessence of Mid-Century Modern design. I could not find another like it, apart from the other one that I have up for sale separately. And using image search, I could not find or date it. It’s possible it is a retro or throwback design that came out in a later decade. But it certainly fits right in with the MCM or Japandi aesthetic. Bulb is for demonstration purposes only in photos. Bulb and shade are not included. You can have fun finding the perfect shade. It would work with many different styles of shade. This is approximately 15 inches in height, including the socket without a bulb in it. The socket at top is just the slightest bit of skew. I don’t think it would even be noticed once the shade is clamped onto the bulb. Or you could adjust that if you are handy with things but I don’t think you’d really need to. A wonderful piece of decor that will surely catch the eyes of your guests! I hope my photos did it justice and showed that it creates the illusion of a drip technique. That is actually the way the painter applied the gold to create that illusion. It’s a quite interesting effect visually.
