This exceedingly rare mid-century style telephone table bench is an exceptional find for collectors and anyone who appreciates unique, functional vintage design. Crafted from what appears to be solid walnut (wood type not confirmed) and built with superb craftsmanship, this piece offers both style and utility wrapped in timeless mid-century charm. The design includes a built-in tabletop / shelf perfect for a vintage telephone, books, or décor, paired with a comfortable upholstered seat cushion. The legs are finished with metal protective covers -possibly copper, brass, or another vintage alloy-which add character while protecting the wood. This was made by ACME Furniture in California in 2020 with materials from China. It is Vintage, but only Mid-Century Style, and was not made during Mid-Century Periods. There is one small stain on the cushion, which will most likely clean off easily with the proper fabric-safe cleaner. Rare Mid-Century Design: Solid wood construction with metal leg bottoms for durability and style. Brass and Wood Vanity Bench with beautiful Mid-Century Modern Hollywood Regency-style curved brass base and wooden side handles. Fabric is a pink velvet, lined with an pink colored fringe and is in spectacular condition. The brass has noticeable markings scattered throughout, looks like possible water/liquid splash. We did not attempt to clean as we appreciate these marks as part of the character of the age of this piece. Very sturdy and solid and just a beautiful rare find in the pink color. Prie-Dieu booth with seat and adjustable book holder. This rare, unique, style of prie-dieu, equipped with a leather upholstered kneeler, red fabric upholstered seat, and adjustable wooden book holder, is enclosed in an oak booth with a 24 wide opening in one side. The exterior walls of the booth are decorated with evenly spaced vertical wooden square rods. The wood has a rich brown stain, highlighting the gorgeous grain patterns of the oak. With use of 2 pegs, the book holder can be removed or adjusted to 5 different heights from 30″ to 36″ if measuring from the lower lip of the holder to the floor. This piece is in good condition with wear consistent with the age of the piece.
