Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a seldom seen atomic tripod lamp designed by Ferris-Shacknove. Circa’50 /’60s. The lamp base is constructed of iron with small wooden atomic ball feet. The shade is constructed of textured cotton over paper. We have included an advertisement from an old Furniture Forum catalog for reference (see photo). It’s a stylish atomic lamp that’ll look fantastic in any mid century modern setting! With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The shade alone measures approx. 7″ tall x 16″ in diameter. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket measures approx. The distance between each of the atomic ball feet measures approx. Condition: Overall, give its age, we’d say the lamp is in very good condition. Aside from the light bulb socket being a little loose and needing some tightening, the base is free from having any issues. It is structurally solid, and displays very nicely. The shade is original to the lamp. It has some minor faint areas of discoloration (possibly old moisture marks or something of that nature). We have not attempted to clean the shade in any manner, so we are uncertain as to whether or not they’ll come out. The shade can easily be turned to have those marks facing the back (see photos). The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is b. All sales are final. Vintage Dolphin 3-D Metal Sculpture Wall Art Decor 3 Piece Set Very rare! Largest piece measures about 22 inches across Thin metal with some poseability. Smallest piece has no hang loop and is meant to be a free standing shelf piece but can easily be mounted on the wall as well using the curve of the bracket. Very good vintage condition with some minor scratching and paint loss here and there. All items come from smoke-free and pet-free home. This is a very rare sculptural metal table lamp-possibly brass. It sits on a black square metal base 1.75 inches high x 6 inches square. The lamp is unsigned, but fully functional. As a vintage piece it has some wear/patina, and there is no shade included. I believe the wiring is original. 38 inches to the top of the finial. 26 inches to the bottom of the socket.

This 1960s original desk lamp is from famed Italian post-war artist Gaetano Missaglia. But I liked it so I bought it. Sometimes I have good taste. It was not working when I got it so I had a lamp expert rewire it and find the appropriate bulb for it. It works like a champ now. Handiness is not my strong suit so I turn to experts for help. Which brings me to the condition. I would say it is in good but not perfect condition. The acrylic or lucite (or what ever it is) in overall good shape. The might be a surface scratch on the left side that is shown as a straight line running right over the curve as shown in photo 6. It does not appear to be deep and you really have to be looking for it. That is the biggest apology in the acrylic. There is some other light, light scratching. There also looks to be internal flaw that is about an 1/8 of an inch long as shown in photo 7. It does not appear to be on the surface but inside the acrylic. I did nothing to the brushed metal surface except a little gentle cleaning. Smack drab in the middle of the metal is what looks like sticker residue. I did not attempt to remove it —- see the part about me being not handy. I have ruined a couple items while trying the remove a price sticker God, I hate price stickers. But my guess is that it will be easily removed by someone who knows what they are doing. I did not want to risk it. You can see the sticker residue in multiple photos. Other wise the brushed metal has some surface wear — best seen in photo 9. Again, this may be able to be cleaned up to look brand new again. Overall I think it is in good shape. There is an original Missaglia sticker on the back. No PO Boxes please. Must have a street address. Please check out all my photos and ask questions about this item if needed. RARE AND FABULOUS ANTIQUE MODERN ABSTRACT BIRD WALL SCULPTURE BY REVERED MODERNIST SCULPTOR C JERE. THIS WORK IS COMPRISED OF A GROUP OF EXOTIC MODERNIST SCULPTED BIRDS. SIGNED AND DATED 1971 BY C JERE. BASED ON EXTENSIVE RESEARCH, ONLY A FEW OF THESE WERE MADE. DIMENSIONS: 30″ H x 15″ W. Known for: Collaborative sculpture, Artisan House-even signed pieces are studio works. Name variants: C Jere, Jerry collaboration record Fels, Curtis Freiler, Curtis collaboration record Freiler, A Curtis Jere. Jeré is a metalwork artist of wall sculptures and household accessories. Jeré works are made and marketed by the corporation Artisan House. Curtis Jere is a compound nom-de-plume of artists Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. The two founders combined pieces of their names to create the C. Modernism magazine interviewed Jerry Fels shortly before his death in October 2008. According to the resulting article in the Spring 2007 issue of Modernism magazine, page 116, the company was founded in 1963 by Fels and his brother-in-law Curtis (Kurt) Freiler. Freiler was the production chief, and Fels was the head of design. Their goal was to produce gallery-quality art for the masses. Artisan House sculptures are no longer made in California. Writer Mitchell Owens wrote a two-page article on the history of C. Jere for the November 2010 issue of Elle Decor.
