For sale, a nice modular credenza cabinet with matching bench platform. Designed by Paul McCobb for the Planner Collection of the “Winchendon” line of functional furniture. Credenza Cabinet #1512 and rare Bench Platform #1540 are made of solid maple wood. Cabinet dimensions are approximately 24″ inches high by 24″ inches wide and is 18 inches deep. Its top, bottom and side walls are a solid 5/8 inches thick and has a plywood back. Inside of top shelf dimensions are 22.5″ by 16.25″ and is 7 high. Bottom storage area is 22.5″ by 16.25″ and 14.5 high. Heavy slate-fiber sliding doors are covered in McCobb’s textured grass cloth fabric that’s durable and easy to clean. Doors adorned with shiny round aluminum pulls in excellent condition. Doors can easily be removed by lifting them up then pulling out at bottom. Cabinet is a perfect fit to a matching 24″ by 18″ by 10 inch high, splayed leg Bench Platform #1540. That bench platform is quite rare and hard to find. Total height of both once stacked is 34 inches. There is a repair to the inside of one slate-fiber door. It’s a nice and solid fix and there are no. Visible signs of that repair to front of door (see photo #10). Use cabinet bottom to store up to 110 record albums comfortably. Top shelf good for audio equipment, books or magazines. Sturdy combination would also make an excellent tv stand. Total weight of credenza and stand is 85 pounds. McCobb’s minimalist Planner Design is classic Modern. His furniture is sought after by collectors for its quality, design and functionality. Will be carefully packed and sent in three large boxes (cabinet, bench and doors). Rare Large TRIPOD IRON BULLET PLANTER MID CENTURY Retro Ceramic MCCOBB 50s. This is a very unique tripod planter with a ceramic top. This base was added to the planter and works well. Good fit as you can see. Planter is little more pink than the photos not sure why my camera was capturing it. The overall condition of this planter is fantastic the base is sturdy with all its black feet, the planter has no issues the top looks amazing and so does the inside. I love the texture outside of the planter and the inside paint is fantastic. This measures from base to floor 16 inches tall the legs by them self measure 14 inches tall and roughly about 7 inches wide after 9 inches wide on the bottom the planter its self is cone shaped it measures about a foot wide in Stands 7 inches tall it fits well on the base. This thing is very durable and it looks amazing as you can see from the photos Ive been collecting for a very long time and I havent seen one of these before. The overall condition of this island is fantastic the base is extremely clean the planter has no issues the top looks amazing and so does the inside. The only issue and there is a photo of it there is a very very small chip on the bottom of the planter by the foot but it does blend in to the feet it is hard to notice and when displayed you never do. I love the texture outside of the planter and the inside paint is fantastic. This measures from base to floor 22 inches tall the legs by them self measure 20 1/2 inches tall and roughly about 9 inches wide after 11 inches wide on the bottom the planter its self is cone shaped it measures about a foot wide in Stans 9 inches tall it fits extremely well on the base. Rare early Blond Maple Drawer Florence Knoll sofa with older channeled iron frame. This is the only blond version I have seen. They are always in walnut and sometimes teak. The Maple option was only offered in the very beginning of the release of this design, and only for a very short time. The blond wood really sets off the black frame. Cushions are soft but needs redoing in your own fabric. The box is original, and I left it that way, but would look better if completely refinished. The total length is 120 inches. Deep 22 inch seat. Back height 30 inches. The piece looks fabulous in the middle of the room, front or back. The black frame has been resprayed in a beautiful semi-gloss. In the pictures, the frame was not yet sprayed. It’s beautiful now! The prices on 1stdibs for the common Walnut drawer version is between 7,000 and 9,400. This price is giveaway, especially the fact that this is a super rare Maple drawer box. I will deliver for free in the entire Los Angeles metropolitan area, and even San Diego. I was going to keep this one but my place is just too small for the piece. You will NEVER see a Maple version of this model again. It’s by far the most attractive of the line because of the very rare drawer and the black frame combo! You can’t go wrong. SO, YOU CAN JUST KEEP IT ALWAYS EXTENDED AND IT WON’T BE SEEN IF THAT BOTHERS YOU. THERE ARE A COUPLE AREAS RIGHT AT THE SEAM OF THE LEAVES THAT TWO SMALL THIN SECTIONS ARE GONE (AS SHOWN). BOTH SIDES OF THE LEAVES / TOP ARE LAMINATED WITH THE SAME WALNUT LAMINATE. THIS TABLE WAS ONLY OFFERED IN VARIOUS LAMINATES, WOOD TONE BEING THE “IN THING” AT THE MOMENT. THIS TABLE WOULD LOOK GREAT WITH THE GEORGE NELSON STEEL FRAME CANED CHAIRS OR EAMES EIFFEL TOWER OR SHELL CHAIRS. IT’S A 36 INCHES SQUARE.
