For Sale: A rare and beautiful Paul McCobb Mid-Century Modern Directional Desk by Calvin Furniture Company. Classic Paul McCobb designed walnut desk that features three pull-out drawers on each side and one pull-out drawer in the center to accommodate your office storage needs. Made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This desk is in excellent vintage condition. We are only the 2nd owner of this desk. It comes with 1/4 thick glass top to protect the wood. Desk measurements: 54″L x 21″W x 28.5″H and 24.5″ desk opening. Drawer measurements: left and right side top small drawers – 18″L x 11 3/4″W x 2 1/2″H, center middle drawer – 18″L x 23 1/2″W x 2 1/2″H, left and right side middle drawers – 18″L x 11 3/4″W x 5 1/2″H and left and right bottom drawers – 18″L x 11 3/4″W x 6 1/2″H. Have a pretty good pair of jvc mid century speakers. The omnidirectional and seem to be in good working order. Wiring doesnt seem to be original but the do work and have that vintage sound. Baffles are in good condition and rubber wrap is also original. The aluminum feet could use a slight polishing otherwise these are great. Still has the original rubber band and is also stands.
