Pair of atomic mid-century modern design aluminum tubing sling chairs from the 50’s to the 70’s eras. Manufacturers unknown – no tags or labels survived. Possibly made by Homecraft or Tropitone. Styled similar to Bauhaus design. Photos show frames as they are now with upholstery removed. Photo with the blue material is how we found them – the material was not installed correctly. Rarely seen Christian Sorensen reclining lounge chair with solid teak arms on a solid white oak frame. The piece reclines to expose a footrest that pulls out. Recently reupholstered as well as fully restored. Recently imported from Denmark. Condition report: Very good condition after restoration. Fully reupholstered recently with new foam and fabric. I acquired this collectible Diamond Chair from the original owners and the chair is in good overall condition although it would benefit from repair. I counted 10 metal pieces detached from the front that could be reconnected, and three pieces that have snapped in the middle section. Additionally, there are two cracks in the chair cover (top) piece along the front middle area. Very rare Herman Miller/ Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman. Made of rosewood 5-ply plywood, cushions are original black leather goose down filled. Original stickers on bottom of chair see pictures. #103 is stamped into wood on seat and back of chair. This is truly one beautiful chair, one of the first chairs produced, and in very good condition other than; the shock mounts were repaired by an amateur that drilled into the wood in all four of mounts. We got an estimate from a very reputable company that specializes in repairs on Eames furniture. Ottoman in very good condition, does not swivel. This generation chair does not come along often. Additional pictures available upon request! Please note this item was revised due to new information that 1st generation chairs have 3 screws in the arms and ours has two. Also the labels date it to 1964. It is still a very rare find, with original leather and down filling, as well as the Rosewood base. , if you send me your ZIP. Rare set of four iron lounge chairs in the style of Maurizio Tempestini for John Salterini, made in Italy in the 1950s. These are a super comfortable and rarely seen high back version of Maurizio Tempestini’s mid-century patio chairs. This set comes fully restored with newly powder coated iron in satin black. Each chair is in excellent condition. The feet glides were replaced at some point and are all in excellent condition and structurally sound. Perfect for your outdoor patio in a lounge setting. Each chair is roughly 35 inches deep- that’s from the back to the front of the chair with the back pitch. 32″ inches wide, 48″ inches high and a 15 inch seat height.
