The shade is high polished steel mirror shine. They do not make things like this anymore I know people say that alot this one is really freakin cool 1969- early 70s. It was well cared for and works great shows very nice no rust! Of course becuase it’s stainless steel. This lamp with style up your console table, hall table, home office, bar etc etc. GORGEOUS lamp this is a life keeper will only increase in value over time.

A true statement piece – Its floating saucer shade and sleek conical base embody everything we love about mid-century modern design. ? Extremely hard to find – Few of these still exist due to the delicate nature of the plastic shades. Even fewer come up for sale, especially in working condition with the original perforated metal diffuser intact. ? Warm, sculptural glow – The shade and diffuser create an incredible lighting effect that makes this piece functional art for any interior. ? Measures 22 high – The perfect size to be an instant conversation piece. ? Condition: The metal base is in great shape, with just a small surface mark. The shade has a 5″ hairline crack and a very faint 1″ hairline in another area-not distracting on display and expected for a lamp of this age (see pics). ? This RARE Mid-Century Modern Gothic table lamp features a unique multicolor ombré pattern in shades of orange to red. Made of glass and metal, it exudes a vintage Gothic Spanish Revival design from the 1970s era. The lamp stands at 27.5 inches tall with a medium size of 9 inches wide, showcasing a black gloss finish, a removable or repositioned black link chain and a knob control for its corded electric power source. This original piece includes inside bulb illumination and is a striking vintage find for collectors of distinctive lighting decor.
