Box was unopened when I acquired it, I only opened it to check contents and to take photos. Box could easily be resealed w/ some adhesive if you wanted an “unopened” one. A Bissell-ette is a vintage, small-sized manual carpet sweeper, often branded with the name “BISSELL-ETTE” or similar diminutive, to indicate a compact, lightweight version of their classic sweeping devices. These, or similar modern manual Bissell sweepers, use rotating brushes to clean debris, hair, and crumbs from carpets and hard floors without cords or batteries. Item acquired via an estate sale where we found it in a broom closet. I had no idea how incredibly beautiful it was until I opened it up to find it in a lovely brass tone finish (not solid brass). This would be the Creme De La Crumb staged in a Mid Century Modern home as decor. I would also imagine a carpet sweeper collector would find this a welcoming addition to their collection. The only condition issue, and its anything but noteworthy, is there is some scuffing on it where it has touched the cardboard over the decades. I have since slipped it in a plastic bag prior to reinserting it into the original box. If you need supplemental photos or have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. If it’s not in the pictures, its not included. Please be advised that items designated in eBays’USED’ or’PREVIOUSLY OWNED’ items will to some degree show signs of normal use & wear, even if you can’t see them in the pictures, such as scuffs, scratches, chips, creases, small dings, dents, rust, spots, stains, dirt, dust, signs of installation and removal, previous owners name/initials, stretched elastic, stretched straps & material and will show signs of age and will have wear to moving parts and parts that contact the ground that you would not expect from purchasing a new item. These conditions may also not be uniform from left to right, say for instance with a shoe. Furthermore, items may look dirtier in person than the camera & lights capture. Items are not new unless otherwise stated. These conditions may be too much for some of you, while others wont be bothered. These conditions would also of course apply to any vintage or antique item as well. Look at pictures above. That is why we make every effort to accurately and fairly describe our items to our customers via text and to accurately represent the item via numerous photos, to the best of our ability. However, with all pre-owned or used items, the condition is subjective. Any errors are unintentional and at best should be very minor such as small, minor, cosmetic imperfections unless otherwise noted above.
