Vintage Adrian Pearsall Craft Associates Couch Very Rare Original Mcm Retro. This is for a very rare craft associates Pearsall couch that I have had in storage for a long time and have recently brought into my home. I believe the wood is teak as well it’s very beautiful and displays incredibly really no issues. One of my favorite things are the frame of the sofa is very unique and looks incredible in person as you can see from the photos. The frame has no issues very sturdy the best part about this so far is it has a steel spring system no straps and sits very comfortably all the old sofas had those leather straps and they always need to be replaced you do not need to deal with that headache here. The cool part about the sofa are the cushions as you can see the back cushions are almost like steps and when you sit on the sofa it is very cozy and very unique it is also very deep it’s a 3 foot deep sofa. The cushions don’t have any issues besides the front of the sofa the pattern is a little faded but nothing too serious there are no holes or rips. As you can see on the side of the sofa are these straps there are cushions that slide inside of the straps giving it a cool look. The foam and padding on the entire sofa has no issues the back of the sofa does have foam it is a little hard but there are no issues it’s not crumbling but you’re not gonna be messing with the back of the sofa anyways visually looks incredible no issues. Everything has craft associate tags on it almost every pillow has a tag on it this sofa is really cool I just don’t use it and it’s time to sell it. Thick, high-quality modular sofa made by De Sede in Switzerland in the 1970s. Due to the separate elements, the couch can be used in a variety of different positions. The high quality leather on the sofa is phenomenal and will continue to age in a beautiful way. De Sede once started as a saddler’s workshop in Klingnau, Switzerland. Slowly, the company widened their Scope and committed themselves to transforming the best possible leather into seating furniture. Up for sale is a sectional sofa designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard. Each have an armrest that can be moved to a few angles, presumably for sleeping – turning the armrests to headrests. Please read some detailed notes on the condition. It is in very good condition but not mint. The finish looks good throughout. All hardware is intact and functional. The hinged sides are mechanically sound. The condition of the burnt orange vinyl is great – even in color, and not stretching, ripping, or brittle anywhere. It has the usual scuffs, dings, areas of faded finishes, and very minimal upholstery defects you would expect for a piece of its age. The vinyl has some very small nicks in it. Hard to notice unless looking for them. One section of the caning is damaged. Finally, the seat-back support could use some reinforcement. I say could because it would be at the buyers discretion. It is stable and functionally useable as is, but maybe could use some added stability if the sectional will be freestanding (away from the support of a wall) or under heavy use. Lastly, It seems to me that whomever did the original assembly put some of the pieces in reverse. I cant be sure of this but the seatback supports have stain and finish on the side that the cushion faces, but are untreated on the side that faces outward. I dont think this is much of an issue but should be factored in when deciding the placement of the couch in your home. If the back is visible you may want to have these pieces finished, or you may want to flip the pieces so that the original stain faces outward as intended (this would require drilling some new holes, since the screws are not placed symmetrically). Rare 1952/53 Jens Risom designed sofa for Hans Knoll. This important piece is one of Risom’s first designs. Made for Hnas Knoll’s furniture company (before his wife Florence joint the design firm). Appears to be original wool beige/ivory hopsack upholstery which is hand stitched at corners. Arm design have a Hans Wegner “Papa Bear” chair vibe. This is an iconic design from a well known designer and well worth the effort to refurbish. Overall dimensions: 78 long x 31 tall x 31 depth. Structurally, wood frame in very good, sturdy condition. The metal springs in the center seat section are broken in a few places so will need repair or replacement before reupholstery. Upholstery is in good enough condition with only a couple stains and can be carefully removed and used as a pattern for reupholstery. MidCentury Modern Sofa/ daybed with removable back pillows, featuring drop arms. This rare gorgeous sofa/ daybed is in exceptional condition featuring drop arms and tapered legs. Current color is a green with gold flake which is hard to see on the pictures. Unsure if fabric is original to the piece, with no tears, could be used as is, maybe lightly shampoo, does has some areas (see pictures) or reupholstered. Time period unsure of original date 1960’s? Uncommon sofa designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar c1955. Clean lined design with unique detached sides or “split arm”, on tapered mahogany legs, upholstered in a cream/beige argyle pattern fabric. In overall very good condition for age. Fabric is not original but is vintage. Foam is in great shape. Fabric shows minor wear from use, great shape aside from faint water stain which is on the underside of cushion and not seen. Perfectly usable as-is, or would look great re upholstered. Minor wear to legs. Structurally solid and sturdy. Estimates: East coast 1-2 weeks, West coast 2-4 weeks.
