Syroco Wood is a wood pulp composite that was created by the SYRacuse Ornamental COmpany. Aging 60 years, this authentic MCM wall plaque art is extraordinarily beautiful! It has added uniqueness which is attributed to the created mold used to for it was thicker. Whereby, it allowed the artisan to create a work that appears to be freely floating within the whimsical frame. This minimalistic design influences a greater depth of dimension. As a result, the entire work could feature the Syroco gold finish. You are able to see from the pictures the details reflected from the light and the shadowing within the French Poodle couple. To bold the caricature, the artisan applied a lighter color in the fill areas. Other ordinary aging, it is in excellent condition and ready to hang in your home. It is free of scratches, scuffs, cracks, and repairs. Enhanced screen-shot illustrates the numbering along with the original label is on the back. Made in Syracuse, New York. Dimensions: 22″ Tall x 14 1/2″ wide x 1 1/2 deep.

Is a vintage circa 1960s Koch & Lowy OMI chrome-plated floor lamp with nice mid-century modern lines. There is a two-section swing arm at the top that lets you adjust the position of the lamp, and the lamp head swivels up and down. It also rises higher about 10 inches. The lamp is marked “OMI” and has an electrical cord with an in-line switch that you can press with your foot in order to turn the lamp on and off. The lamp rises from 42″ inches to 52″ inches in height and has an 11 diameter weighted base. Each section of the swing arm measures about 7 long. I have been unable to test lamp as I do not have a light bulb that fits it. And customer will have to put lamp base back together (do it yourself).

RARE PAIR MODELINE CIRCA 1960’S MID-CENTURY MODERN TABLE LAMPS. This rare pair of vintage-modern sculptural lamps were made by MODELINE in CA during the 60’s (5VH64E), all orginal. They have inverted cone shaped shades and walnut pull chain. The bases are round walnut with sunken brass accent. The wood is in very good to excellent condition. No patina on brass accent however there is some on pull chain. As you can tell from pics one cord does need to be replaced but is still in good working order. It’s hard to see but there are some hairline cracks in the shades, I did my best to capture it, not very noticable when turned on. The cords are orginal. The difference in lighting is due to 2 different size watts in the bulbs. The lamps are 30.5″ high, base is 7.5″ wide, the shade itself is 18″ tall, and 9″ deep. Thank you for viewing.

This lamp is in excellent vintage operational condition. After an exhaustive internet search, we were unable to find another example of this lamp. Apparently the mosaic tile tables usually didn’t survive the stresses of time. The mosaic tile pattern on the adjustable table is in perfect condition. The lamp retains all of it’s original components, except for electrical. The electrical components have been refurbished to bring the lamp into modern UL code compliance. This lamp is absolutely stunning and would be the highlight of any room that it is placed in. Any Mid Century Modern collector will be extremely pleased to add this to their collection. Here is a rare and beautiful hand blown art glass bottle/vase of alternating blue/green vertical stripes by Fulvio Bianconi; Venini, Murano, Italy ca. This is a very desirable form and would be the centerpiece of many a collection. Unsigned but would have had a paper or foil label. This vase measures 9″ tall without stopper, 11″ tall with stopper. And about 5 1/2 in diameter. The slender neck is about 1 diameter at its narrowest. The bottle WITHOUT the stopper is a treasure and a steal at this price. Consider the modified stopper a bonus. Few bottles come with the stopper still intact. Condition for the VASE is excellent vintage condition. I detect no chips, scratches, cracks or fleabites. Only nominal wear to the bottom. Condition for the STOPPER is as follows – The stopper presents itself with no obvious issues. But after years of ownership I’ve concluded that it has been ground and polished at the lip. The stoppers I’ve seen with this style of vase are usually wide lipped and sit above the lip of the bottle. This stopper has no lip and looks suspiciously like it has been modified. I don’t think it would have come like this from the maker. I offer it here with the thought that an altered stopper is better than no stopper at all. Womb Chair & Ottoman 1st Generation KNOLL. This rare first generation Model 70 Chair and matching ottoman (VERY RARE to find both together from this period) more commonly known as the Womb Chair, by Eero Saarinen for Knoll Associates. Confirmed by the un-afixed label (which will be included) with the early 36-30 Steinway St Long Island City 1, N. Address (see pics) which predates the use of zip codes. The frame and feet match Knoll’s example for the 1948 first year productions for the iconic Womb Chair, and the matched label further supports this. This lounge chair and ottoman are being offered as as set for either a collector’s piece to keep and hold as-is with its current original hopsack (very Cato-esque) textile (I believe wool) or alternatively this could be a designer’s reupholstery project for the client who wishes to have the best of the best. I personally would look into having the fabric cleaned and repaired as a great deal of the fabric is still in amazing condition and it is so incredibly beautiful. The fabric shows signs of use and wear with a few tears and pulling, and the foam has hardened and is disintegrating. If regular use is intended, reupholstery with new foam and fabric (or leather) is advised. Additionally there is a small crack in one of the legs (see last pic) near the where the screw hole is. The Ottoman has some bent plywood delimitation (see 2nd to last pic) about 1.5-2 inches wide on both sides of the ottoman, which again is a minor repair if you were to choose to reupholster the piece. Please understand that everything on both the chair and ottoman are original and untouched. These 1st generation Womb chairs were made quite differently than modern production Womb Chais (bent plywood AND fiberglass) and as such it has a weight and presence that the new ones don’t have. Florence Knoll requested that Eero Saarinen design a chair like a basket full of pillows, the result was the groundbreaking Womb armchair. This iconic piece would be a great addition as part of a classic or contemporary living room, den, man or woman! Cave, family room, office or bedroom. It would also be an apt choice in a corporate, retail or hospitality location such as a boutique hotel lobby, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, executive office or in a luxe clothing emporium.
