Original, Authentic Selig of Monroe set of Mid-Century Modern Chairs. These are an extremely rare find. These chairs belonged to a late family member. I know they were kept in her basement and rarely sat in since around the late 1940’s or early 1950’s. They are very sound structurally but do have slight rips located on the corners of each arm (pictured). The legs are all intact and original. They have nicks and marks but no major damage. 31.5″ deep 29″ wide 33.5 height. 28″ deep 28″ wide 28 height. I have not had them professionally cleaned but that should also make the exotic pattern pop even more. I would definitely keep them but my significant other is forcing me to sell. For sale is a set of four Josef Hoffmann 6010 chairs, designed by Josef Hoffmann and Oswald Haerdtl in 1929. Made in Poland in the latter half of the 20th century. The chairs are made of dark stained beech with vinyl seats. The chairs are in wonderful shape. They have small scuffs and marks but no damage. The vinyl seats have some signs of use. A pair of seldom seen, early Knoll Model 145 chairs, designed by Kurt Nordstrom in 1954 for Knoll International. Produced only until 1960, these elegant chairs were created in Teak veneer with black tubular steel frames/legs, and have solid brass fittings. Very good condition with minor marks/scratches commensurate with their age. One chair has a missing spot of base veneer on the underside of the seat (see photos), and another small area with veneer that is intact but should be re-glued. Both of these spots are not visible unless the chair is upside down. Minor surface oxidation at some of the weld points on underside of chairs. Feet/gliders are solid birch, and both chairs retain their original early 50’s fabric Knoll labels. Fully original as far as we can tell with no modifications or structural damage, and sturdy enough to be used by us as occasional chairs in a design office for the past decade. These are a pair of Plycraft chairs which i assume were designed by George Mulhauser or Norman Cherner. They are very rare and it is almost impossible to find any in existence. As you can see in a pic we also have the super rare Plycraft color and wood sample combo wheel. The chairs are in very good condition as pictured. They are solid with no breaks or issues. We sat in them several times for dinner and they are rock solid and super comfortable. The dimensions are 30 inches high back x 17 1/2 h seat x 18 wide. 6 RARE 1920s Cesca Dining Cane arm chairs Marcel Breuer thonet. The B64 chair was designed by Marcel Breuer for Thonet in 1927. These original Thonet chair are made of chrome-plated tubular steel, dstained beech, bentwood and cane. The first producer of the B64 was Thonet, starting in 1927. Later in the 1950s, Gavina also started making them with Breuer’s blessing and participation. Gavina was the first to name the chair the “Cesca”, after Breuer’s daughter, Francesca. H 80 cm x W 58 cm x D 60 cm, Sh. These are museum-quality pieces. One of the caning is a little messed up. But it is easily fixed. This is the real deal. These are more of a statement piece. Vintage Set of 6 matching B64 Cesca Chairs designed by Marcel Breuer and produced by Thonet, features a beautiful modernist cantilever design, crafted of walnut wood and hand-woven cane seats, tubular steel chromed frames with curved caned back panels.. Made in italy (under the arm rest) Marcel Breuer designed the B64 chair in 1927 and was produced by Michael Thonet in 1928 in Poland. Thonet produced the chair until World War II. Awesome six piece set of curved high back mid century modern dining chairs, by Lane Furniture. I obsessionally scoured the internet for quite some time, and could not find any others out there. They kind of have some Gio Ponti vibes going on… All 6 of the dining chairs are solid, sturdy, and functional. The original upholstery isn’t bad at all, and is overall pretty clean, a couple seats might possibly need just a tiny bit of minor cleaning in a spot or two. No big rips, tears, smells, stains, etc…. The only wear on the wood to note is a couple hairline splits to the wood (pictured), both of which don’t effect the overall aesthetic or structural integrity. I didn’t even notice the splits until long after I originally took the photos. The dining chairs measure roughly 47.25″ tall x 18″ wide x 18″ deep, and 19″ tall from the floor to the seat. The captain’s chairs have the same dimensions except that the arms make them 22.25″ wide, and the arms measure 25″ tall at their lowest point from the floor up. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER ITEMS FOR SALE, AND ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITE SELLERS LIST! Please note – There are.
