AVID ANTIQUES AND COLLECTIBLES are proud to present this this ULTRA RARE MID CENTURY MODERN PIERCED METAL POLE/MOSAIC TILE TABLE LAMP CIRCA 1950’S for your consideration. This lamp is in excellent vintage operational condition. After an exhaustive internet search, we were unable to find another example of this lamp. Apparently the mosaic tile tables usually didn’t survive the stresses of time. The mosaic tile pattern on the adjustable table is in perfect condition. The lamp retains all of it’s original components, except for electrical. The electrical components have been refurbished to bring the lamp into modern UL code compliance. This lamp is absolutely stunning and would be the highlight of any room that it is placed in. Any Mid Century Modern collector will be extremely pleased to add this to their collection. Rosewood was not a standard veneer/finish choice and was only available by custom special order. Manufactured in the 50’s – 60’s, in USA. The chrome frame and wooden panels are in excellent vintage condition! Amazingly, there is NO PITTING or RUST on the metal! The finish is not original but exceptionally, professionally reapplied! The shock mounts are also upgraded. Base retains all original self leveling floor glides. (They are made from nylon to work on various floor surfaces). And they are in pristine condition! The color and the grain pattern are spectacular! Due to the carefully researched proportions and angles of the molded plywood, this chair is an extremely comfortable one for long durations. (Two Philips Head screws). Charles & Ray Eames (Designer). DCM (dining. Chair. Metal). Mid Century Modern (Of the Period). Wear consistent with age and use. A PAIR of Arrben leather chairs likely from the late 80s, based on the estate they were removed from. Beautiful warm caramel toffee leather with copper colored bar that’s agreed to a nice bronze. All leather and metal has been professionally conditioned and cleaned. I’ve been told that the copper/bronze plated bar is basically unheard of, and similar with brown as a whole but typically even then it’s a much darker brown. I love the model normally but this combo is 10x as good. Marked underneath by Arrben, altogether fantastic chairs… Italian leather and high quality metal. Overall very good condition for their age. Leather has been treated with collagen treatments. Each seat shows some minor imperfections- but that’s expected… 30″ x 24″ x 24. Extremely comfortable and versatile style.
