Exquisite and Rare Rosewood Herman Miller. Eames DCM Dining Chair. These don’t turn up very often. A rare rosewood DCM chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Rosewood was not a standard veneer/finish choice and was only available by custom special order. Manufactured in the 50’s – 60’s, in USA. The chrome frame and wooden panels are in excellent vintage condition! Amazingly, there is NO PITTING or RUST on the metal! The finish is not original but exceptionally, professionally reapplied! The shock mounts are also upgraded. Base retains all original self leveling floor glides. (They are made from nylon to work on various floor surfaces). And they are in pristine condition! The color and the grain pattern are spectacular! Due to the carefully researched proportions and angles of the molded plywood, this chair is an extremely comfortable one for long durations.
