VERY RARE Pyrex 664 Big Bertha 4 Qt. Casserole WithLid and Tray Never Released
VERY RARE Pyrex 664 Big Bertha 4 Qt. Casserole W/Lid and Under Plate. Condition is NEAR NEW Pre-owned Original owner. This 2 color 4qt design casserole is believed have never been released because Corning was never able to center the 8 leaf red flower jn the crnter of the outter brown design. I know one of the engineers that worked for Corning and was involved in the profection of this 2 color design. Some prototypes were ran but none never left the plant for sale to the public. This model was intended to be released with a model 212 12 inch clear glass under plate/dish as well. (via my engineer friend). The only ones of these that are out there are ones that Corning employees eventually were able to have for their own use and thus that is how this one came in to my possession. This is a very special and rare find. An UNUSED Pyrex casserole IN THE ORIGINAL BOX… This Vintage 1974 (46 years old) Pyrex Brown Pueblo Glass Casserole Dish 2.5 QT with hugger set was found in its original box. I don’t have to tell a Pyrex collector how RARE this is! It is near mint with one exception. There is a very light, small, shiny rub on the side of the casserole under the handle where it rubbed on hugger in storage as shown in last picture. Box was poorly opened as shown and kind of dusty as well but hey, the box exists, and is decorated with the same pattern found on the casserole lid. A brown and orange “Pueblo” pattern piece which took me some time to identify, which is rare in itself, with the number 9573 on box. It measures 10 3/4 from end of handle to end of handle. RARE Zenith HIFI Mid Century Modern Record Player Radio Flip Top Console on Base. Ships free, safe and fast. This model is extremely scarce and cool! Very good condition cabinet, base and all functions are normal. Original Speaker cloth is in excellent and original condition but has come loose in a couple places, can be re-tucked by investing some calories. The radio works normally except for some light static when adjusting the controls which is easily remedied with DeOxit. The turntable functions normally but it came to us with no needle / cartridge so it need a replacement. On the rear dust cover there is an area that got bumped and lost a 3 chunk of plastic, it cannot be seen without going behind the unit. The most important flaw to this piece is the dried out and brittle power cord. We successfully tested the piece with it but it need to replaced, a relatively inexpensive and non complicated repair. 56″ wide x 26 1/4″ x 11 1/2 deep.
