Very Rare Dark Emerald Green Solid Marble MCM MID Century Modern Lamp
Up for your consideration is a very rare solid marble pillar lamp. The marble section measures about 12″ tall and 3.50″ wide. The color is gorgeous dark emerald green with lighter and darker veins running through it on all sides. No damage, cracks to the marble at all. I also have a pink one that i’ll be listing too so check my other listings. I believe this is a vermont marble co. Lamp but without the sticker. Might be a different maker, but stunning regardless. The pink one is listed separately. The lamp has been plugged in and works. The brass has typical wear and pitting. I list them as I find them, traveling the west coast of florida. As with any vintage electric item, please have your electrician inspect it before using. Simply stunning and so unusual. In Pyrex circles, this little girl is one of the Holy Grails to add to your collection. She is lovely, retaining excellent color and her original domed glass lid! Notice how lovely the rich red/coral coloring is with the bright-white snowflakes further highlighting the enhancement. She has the numbers 2161 embossed on the underside of one handle, and embossed on the underside of the lid’s handle reads 33B. She measures approximately 11.5″ long (including handles) by 6.75″ wide by 2.5″ deep, without lid, 3.25″ with lid. While she appears to be near mint, I note some blemishes to each handle in the form of some edge roughness (along one edge of the lid too), color loss and shallow chips along the edges of the handle. Unless otherwise noted, this item in very good condition for its age, solid and sturdy with normal signs of aging, use, scratches or imperfections. I have over 20 years of online sales experience. The soft pad group is arguably the most luxurious desk chair that the Eames produced. Supple and showing light wear. Enamel has a couple of small scratches, but nothing notable.
