This is a rare vintage mid century gonder reclining Panther #237 in a pistachio- chartreuse green with brown dip glaze made in the clay city of Zanesville, Ohio. Gonder opened in 1941 and closed in 1957. Panther measures 15″ long, 7 1/4″ tall and 5 wide. Signed on bottom Gonder Original 237. Panther is in good condition, on the bottom their is some areas that are missing glaze don’t know if they are factory defects or small chips (see photos). This lamp is in excellent condition I have never seen one of these shades as clean as this one is it is virtually flawless. You never really see these shades in green either. The most unique part about this lamp is the fake greenery. You never find this and when you do its in such bad shape as you can see from the photos this looks exceptional. The base the shade the finial this entire lamp is in such great shape with really no issues works very well. Lampshade 14 inches long at the bottom stands 11 1/2 inches tall and 10 inches wide. The base is 11 inches long 6 inches wide. From the base to the finial stands 2 feet tall. Rare Mid Century Lucite Panther Coffee Table. Stunning & Unusual Coffee Table! Panther Sculptures are made of solid heavy lucite with a frosted finish. Lucite bar attaches the 2 lacquer bases. The lucite bar comes out and the 2 lacquer bases can be separated. Panthers on box platform are 26 x 7 x 16 tall each. Glass top is 55 x 30. Works well with Art Deco, Modern and Mid Century interior designs. Great vintage condition with minor scuffs. Small scratches in the eyes of one of the panther that can be buffed back to original (see last photo). (not sure what happened -that is the way we got it).
