Vintage Mid Century Modern Industrial Metal Lamps x2 Pair Rare Glimo Dimmable. Stunningly designed MCM pair of industrial lamps, possibly originally from military of hospital use. They are marked on the base with Glimo-Glow Lamp, but I can’t find anything online about them. The top dome adjuster turns, which then raises the metal internal shade, which covers the bulb, dimming the light – both mechanism are perfectly working, moving the shade up and down. The light switch is via a toggle switch to the base of the lamps. And they have a green flex/cord. The lamps measure approximately 21cm in height, with a base diameter of 15cm. Condition is used as per photographs, and they are currently not working, and need an electrician to rewire them. They are currently only suitable for decorative purposes or props and they do look amazing as decorative items! The bulbs which are BC22 Pygmy fitting and need replacing, again, they are just for decoration. Rare mid-century modern industrial lamps and amazing to have a pair. These are for decorative use only, and require a professional refurb.
