Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage abstract face sculptural table lamp. Circa’50s /’60s. The lamp has a standard rotary knob switch located at the socket. It is inscribed “Heifetz” along the back edge of the lamp where the electrical cord emerges from the base (see photo). No shade present – that’ll be left up to the winning purchaser to provide on their own. This lamp is a definite statement piece that’ll make a nice addition to any modern interior setting! The lamp stands approx. 19.5 tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the light socket). The wood base measures approx. 16.75″ tall x 8.25″ wide x 5.25 deep. The abstract face measures approx. 9″ tall x 5.5″ wide. Condition: Given its age, the lamp is in very good condition – there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There is some minor paint loss in spots on the abstract face (see photos) – they can be easily touched up, or just left alone. We chose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. The biomorphic base shows some color wear, and there are spots where it looks like it may have come into contact with moisture. It can easily be restained, or again, just left alone. In our opinion, it does not interfere with the overall display of the lamp. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is b. All sales are final. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage MAJESTIC table lamp complete with its original matching cylindrical fiberglass shades. The lamp takes on an atomic / floral appearance. Materials: Ebonized wood, brass, metal floral leaves in black and gold. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch on the bottom of the base which allows for three-way functionality… One twist lights up the two main sockets, a second twist allows the two small sockets within the brass cups to light up, and a third and final twist lights everything up at once. The fiberglass shades are designed to thread directly onto the light sockets. At the same time, it’s both a fantastic and strange lamp that’ll light up any modern interior setting! Measurements: With the shades attached, the lamp stands approx. 28″ tall (measured from he bottom of the base to the top of the higher shade) x 20″ wide. Each of the shades measures approx. 8″ tall x 6″ in diameter. The rounded oval base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 11.5″ wide x 6″ deep. Condition: Overall the lamp is in very good condition. There are a few cosmetic things which we’ll mention here. First off, the oval rounded base looks to have been repainted at one point in time. There is a little wear to the black color, mainly on the back side where the flat metal panels come into contact with the base (see photos). It isn’t anything major whatsoever, but we’re mentioning it to be accurate. The black center metal panel has a faint scratch mark on it, but being that it’s black, it’s really hard to notice – you have to be looking for it to notice it. The shades are free from rips, holes, tears, stains, burn marks, repairs, etc. The lacing looks like it may have been redone – it’s completely intact with no issue to report. The green felt on the underside of the lamp had disintegrated, so we took it upon ourselves to replace it. Under the felt if the original “Majestic” label (see photo). When applying the new felt, we only adhered it around the edges so as to not allow any adhesive to get onto the label itself. The electrical wiring is in good shape – no frays, split, exposed and/or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. The base is constructed of iron, and there are two ceramic inserts, one rests at the very top and serves as a shallow dish – perhaps for some faux plants, and the other insert is also ceramic and encloses the light bulb. Both ceramic pieces are off-white in color, with thin black paint swirls throughout. The lamp stands approx. The ceramic dish / bowl at the top has a diameter of approx. 11, and it is approx. The ceramic encasement around the light bulb measures approx. 8″ tall x 6″ in diameter. The distance between the legs is approx. Condition: Excellent condition – no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, bends, dents, dings, etc. The interior side of the dish at the top shows some minor signs of light discoloration from age and use – nothing objectionable whatsoever (see photos)… We’re solely mentioning it for accuracy. The electrical wiring is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc, and it looks to be original to the lamp. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked prior to long-term use. NOTE : The lamp will be packaged with extreme care. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage atomic era table lamp. The base is constructed of iron, and there are two ceramic inserts, one rests at the very top and serves as a shallow dish – perhaps for some faux plants, and the other insert is also ceramic and encloses the light bulb. Both ceramic pieces are off-white in color, with thin black paint swirls throughout. The lamp stands approx. The ceramic dish / bowl at the top has a diameter of approx. 11, and it is approx. The ceramic encasement around the light bulb measures approx. 8″ tall x 6″ in diameter. The distance between the legs is approx. Condition: Excellent condition – no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, bends, dents, dings, etc. The interior side of the dish at the top shows some minor signs of light discoloration from age and use – nothing objectionable whatsoever (see photos)… We’re solely mentioning it for accuracy. The electrical wiring is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc, and it looks to be original to the lamp. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked prior to long-term use. NOTE : The lamp will be packaged with extreme care.
