This is a stunning pair of McGuire furniture officers chairs in excellent condition. The frames and rawhide trim are in near perfect condition. The large brass fittings are perfect with a vintage patina. I do not know if the red leather is original custom or replaced decades ago but it is strong and good to be used for years and years. Offered for your consideration is a pair of stylish mid century modern lounge chairs. We do think they are by Selig – but there are no labels or markings. Featuring ebonized legs and a flared arm. CONDITION: Upholstery is faded on arms – there are a few seam separations – and frayed on front area of arms. The cushions are a little’crunchy’ but still quite comfortable as the seat is a sprung cushion. There are some scratches on the wood legs. Mid-century modern pair of lucite and ash wood chairs. Beautiful rare Danish modern lines. Perfect design yin and yang, these chairs’ Lucite frames are tantalizingly juxtaposed with undulating carved ash wood seats. 18″ W x 18.5″ D x 32 H. These are my Dad’s and they are from the 60’s. In very good original condition. Condition is commensurate with age. There is some crazing on the legs but not noticeable. Thank you so much for looking! These stunning and very rare Arbuck / Paul McCobb group 76 iron chairs and cats cradle table are absolutely beautiful. I’ve looked very hard to find another set of four chairs for sale and I believe this is the only set of four on the internet. I’ve also been unable to find another table. The chairs have been resprayed, the plywood backs have been refinished, the seats have been re-wrapped in white vinyl and the chairs have new, hard plastic feet. Measurements of the chairs are: 32″ tall x 24″ deep x 17 wide. Chair upholstery is off white naugahyde stapled to a plywood seat. The seat color can easily be changed. The new 1/2 beveled glass table top was just picked up from the local glass shop and is perfect. The frame of the table has also been resprayed. The table measures 60″ long x 34.5″ wide x 28.5 tall. You’d be hard-pressed to find a sleeker dining set. Any questions, please ask! Listed for sale is an original pair of George Nakashima captain’s chairs, never refinished and in gorgeous original condition. Uniquely, the two chairs vary dimensionally from more recent examples produced at the Nakashima Studio. Per the last two photos in this listing, the chairs were both brought to Mira Nakashima for authentication and assessment. Due to the informal nature of production in the 1950’s, Mira believes these to be early examples prior to George deciding on a single specific dimension. She also believes that they very well may have been special ordered for a couple with one taller and one shorter individual. As a result, the backrest crests vary from one another. Mira will be providing a written letter, which will be made available to you upon purchasing the chairs. Furthermore, I have an order card (not specifically mentioning these chairs, as it was a later order card) from the Nakashima Studio from the same family, as this came from an estate with many Nakashima pieces. The price listed is for one chair. Both chairs are available. And I will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible.
