RARE Pair Vintage Raymor Bitossi Vases by Aldo Londi Italy, 1960s, Geometric
Raymor Bitossi Aldo Londi Italy 1960s RARE Matched Pair Geometric Vases Red Purple Circle Squares. A striking matched pair of vintage ceramic vases designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi and imported by Raymor in the 1960s. These sculptural pieces exemplify Londi’s bold postmodern aesthetic, featuring textured matte black surfaces contrasted with vivid red and purple geometric motifs-circles nested in triangles, a playful inversion on each form. Each vase measures approximately 6 inches tall by 4 inches wide, with a compact, architectural silhouette that makes them ideal for display on a shelf, console, or as part of a curated vignette. The rough black texture adds a Brutalist edge, while the color blocking nods to Bauhaus influences. Unsigned, but with remnants of the original Raymor label still visible on the base-consistent with known examples from this era. Condition is good vintage with minor paint chips and surface wear, consistent with age. No cracks or structural damage. The pair presents beautifully and retains strong visual impact. A rare opportunity to own a pair of authentic mid-century Italian ceramics with iconic design lineage. Perfect for collectors of Raymor, Bitossi, or postmodern design.
