Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage abstract face sculptural table lamp. Circa’50s /’60s. The lamp has a standard rotary knob switch located at the socket. It is inscribed “Heifetz” along the back edge of the lamp where the electrical cord emerges from the base (see photo). No shade present – that’ll be left up to the winning purchaser to provide on their own. This lamp is a definite statement piece that’ll make a nice addition to any modern interior setting! The lamp stands approx. 19.5 tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the light socket). The wood base measures approx. 16.75″ tall x 8.25″ wide x 5.25 deep. The abstract face measures approx. 9″ tall x 5.5″ wide. Condition: Given its age, the lamp is in very good condition – there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There is some minor paint loss in spots on the abstract face (see photos) – they can be easily touched up, or just left alone. We chose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. The biomorphic base shows some color wear, and there are spots where it looks like it may have come into contact with moisture. It can easily be restained, or again, just left alone. In our opinion, it does not interfere with the overall display of the lamp. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is b. All sales are final.
