Offered for your review and consideration is this absolutely magnificent, mid-20th century, Laurids Lonborg vintage lathe-turned teak body and either maple or birch hardwood eye sockets, ears and nose, highly stylized Modernist wooden owl, carved figure. It features black beaded eyes and a soft, bulbous teak body. The eye sockets, ears and nose are routered and inserted into drilled out recesses in the teak body and affixed with adhesive glue. The birch or maple hardwood eye sockets have a concave profile and an interior round darker wood, perhaps walnut, upon which the black beaded eyes sit.
