Well-known and listed New England American Enamelist/Artist JUDITH DANER. Beautifully stylized design mounted on a modern, beveled, sleek, solid walnut? I believe Daner used a stenciling technique here giving the design a layered/3-dimensional effect rendered in colors of blues, green, black and white enameling. The technique required multiple firings to accomplish. Enameled Copper Tile – 7.5 x 5.5 inches. Overall Wood Board/Frame – 11 x 9 inches. Signed with Daner’s initials “JD” in the bottom right corner. Stunning example of Judith Daner’s enamel art! JUDITH DANER BIO b. Daner studied at Parson’s School of Design and the Art Students League in New York. She received her BFA with top honors from Pratt Institute. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums nationally as well as the Biennale Internationale in France. During her early career, Daner designed for Bovano of Cheshire, Connecticut, and Robert Wuersch Associates of Fall River, Massachusetts. Regarded as one of the modern Masters of Enameling, her pieces are very collectible and sought after. Enameled plaque is in wonderful condition, free of dents, dings and scratches. Walnut board/frame has a small blemish on the lower right bevel – underneath the face of the board. Seen when looking up from underneath the board (see last photo).

Mid Century Modern Ellamarie Woolley Enamel Copper Pendant Necklace MCM. Measurements: 1 7/8″ wide at the top, 2 7/16″ wide at the bottom. Condition: Beautiful, nice bright colors. Small scratch on the top right, you only can see it when you get the light to hit it just right. One chip on the back. A couple firing point on the back of the pendant. This piece has the original band necklace, but it doesn’t fasten tightly enough to wear it. I would recommend changing the necklace portion, or modifying the existing one so the pendant would be secure when worn. Please review all photos as they are the best indicator of condition.
