MCM Vintage BALDELLI Italy Owl Red Piggy Bank – RARE – Mid Century Modern. A mid-century ceramic coin bank made by Ceramiche Baldelli near Perugia, Italy. This charming owl is glazed in glossy red- with hand painted details accentuating his big eyes. The coin slot is at the back with a stopper at the base. Stamped Baldelli Italy and hand numbered 819 to the underside. There is a also a small Z imprinted. 6 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ x 4 Inches. There is a minor defect at the edge of the stopper on the base. There are black marks in the red glaze that are original to the piece. Please see photos and send any questions. Will be packaged carefully!
