STILNOVO Table Lamp Atomic Kalmar Mid Century Vintage Italy 1950s 60s 70s RARE
Mid Century Italian table lamp attributed to Stilnovo, Milano, Italy. The lampshade is made of aluminium lacquered cream on the outside and silver on the inside with a decorative brass collar detail and other diablo shade lacquered black. Stem made of brass tubing with ball joint to the shade and two addition pivot joints. Cast iron base with faux marble plastic cover and decorative brass rim. The original switch is on the base. There is one brass and ceramic bulb socket. The lamp is in very good vintage condition and in full working order. The lamp has been re-wired and earthed. The lamp takes one e27 bulb. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician. Can be used with 110-230v supplies. Although we strive to give as accurate a description as possible, patina and age-related wear are to be expected. However, we will always indicate any noticeable defects. A RARE GIO PONTI Cabinet Vase, Made by VENINI, Murano, ITALY. Circa mid 1950’s. This design, by GIO PONTI is well documented in Venini Publications and catalogues. It is illustrated in ” VENINI Catalogue Raisonne”, by Anna Venini Diaz de Santillana. 1921 – 2007, Published by SKIRA Editore S. 521.3, illustrated on Pg. 295, the cabinet vase is shown there. Also illustrated is another version, No. 334.3 on Pg. 289, a slightly smaller glass. Being part of a Bicceria set with a Carafe and 4 different sized Glasses. Other variations illustrated include Carlo Scarpa’s “Pennelate” series and also. Fulvio Bianconi’s, “a fasche orrizontale”. This piece measuring 105mm x 95mm x 55mm, being Height x Top Diameter. Mid Century table lamp by. Long funnel lampshade is made of aluminium lacquered in a textured cream paint on the outside and white on the inner. A curved elegant stem is made brass tubing attached to a cast iron angled base in a textured grey paint. The switch is on the cable. There is one brass bulb socket. The lamp is in very good vintage condition and in full working order. The lamp takes one e14 bulb. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician. Can be used with 110-230v supplies. Wegner designed for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1950, the CH23 dining chair is an early example of Wegners style and craftsmanship. This lamp is in excellent condition I have never seen one of these shades as clean as this one is it is virtually flawless. You never really see these shades in green either. The most unique part about this lamp is the fake greenery. You never find this and when you do its in such bad shape as you can see from the photos this looks exceptional. The base the shade the finial this entire lamp is in such great shape with really no issues works very well. Lampshade 14 inches long at the bottom stands 11 1/2 inches tall and 10 inches wide. The base is 11 inches long 6 inches wide. From the base to the finial stands 2 feet tall.
