There are multiple high definition super-sized pictures at the bottom of this page. This piece is a tour de force of hand carving, absolutely exquisite work, there are a few versions of this. Lamp, the more modern versions have allot less detail and the caring is generally allot cruder, the master that made this piece knew his trade and his tools very well, he has captured perfectly the body. Language, the facial expression, everything is just spot on, these pieces are folk art and very highly collectable. We have fully restored it to make it safe and usable for the 21st century, the light fitting has been replaced with a modern mount, all new wiring, plug and switch, it is now ready to go. Height:- 108.5. Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. MID CENTURY KNOLL CONVERTIBLE DAYBED SOFA By Richard Shultz Manufactured around 1960, this sofa can be pulled out to convert into a bed. This sofa will need some work. The cushion material on the back support and armrests is disintegrating, The fabric is in pretty good condition but the armrest are a bit worn and need cleaning. On the under side there are 2 metal coils that were used to apply tension to make it easier to pull out the bed but the screws holding them broke out and will need to be reconnected, however, the bed can be converted without them. There are 2 bars that were reconnected with new bolts and nuts. It measures 7′ long, 30 ” deep, 29″ high (top of back), seat cushion is 14 high. It extends 8 pulled out. Pepper Pot Nibbles to both top side edges, these have aged well in colour tone and whilst they are there, they blend in well with the colour of the pot, making them in my opinion not offensive to the eye.
