MID CENTURY KNOLL CONVERTIBLE DAYBED SOFA By Richard Shultz Manufactured around 1960, this sofa can be pulled out to convert into a bed. This sofa will need some work. The cushion material on the back support and armrests is disintegrating, The fabric is in pretty good condition but the armrest are a bit worn and need cleaning. On the under side there are 2 metal coils that were used to apply tension to make it easier to pull out the bed but the screws holding them broke out and will need to be reconnected, however, the bed can be converted without them. There are 2 bars that were reconnected with new bolts and nuts. It measures 7′ long, 30 ” deep, 29″ high (top of back), seat cushion is 14 high. It extends 8 pulled out.
