The Charles & Ray Eames ESU 400 N Storage Unit for Herman Miller. The design features plated steel uprights, and crossed metal struts inspired by industrial warehouse shelving. Seldomly seen, sliding door stops are present on all doors. The walnut wood finish has a beautiful grain with a wonderful patina. Lacquered masonite panels add support and hues of neutral tones. Unit has the redesigned, reinforced triangular leg supports as seen in the second editions. Also features hardly seen round knob pulls, as opposed to the more common metal handles.
