Here’s an incredible piece of classic mid-century Danish modern design. It’s a Floor Lamp made by the Laurel Lamp Company in the 1960’s and is called the TULIP. Has their paper label inside the fixture. Heavy weighted square satin chrome metal base measures 10″X10″. It stands 68.5 to top of the shade. The pole looks like real teak wood? Satin chrome lamp fixture has rim cut in swooping style that holds that milky white heavy glass flower-shaped shade upright. All original and overall condition is excellent. The base has some tarnish and minor plating loss. Pole, fixture and shade are perfect. Great visual appeal and the ultimate floor lamp for the MCM look. Local pick-up available and I’ll consider a meet-up for New England buyers. Rare 65″ tall “Columnlite floor lamp designed by Bill Curry for Design Line, c1960’s. Heavy cast metal base in black, with tubular ribbed acrylic shade. Original orange finish to switch and label intact to underside. Wear and discoloration to the shade appropriate for age, no cracks! Working without issue, re wiring is always recommended for safety.
