The gold decoration remains bright with a noticeable raised texture. The cranberry-pink enamel is vibrant and well-preserved. No chips, cracks observed. Bases show light shelf wear consistent with age. Striking vintage mid-century modern glassware set featuring a butterfly motif with cranberry-pink enamel and gold detailing, attributed to Fred Press. This set includes a matched service for four, with both highball and double old fashioned glasses. The design closely aligns with known Fred Press butterfly patterns, which are more commonly found in other colorways. This cranberry/pink variant appears to be far less frequently encountered, particularly as a complete 8-piece set. While these examples are unsigned, collectors note that some earlier or limited production runs were not always marked. The gold decoration has a raised, textured feel consistent with mid-century Fred Press barware, and the glasses feature clear, weighted bases typical of the period. 4 Highball Glasses – approx. 4 Rocks / Double Old Fashioned Glasses – approx.

Message me if you need any further pictures. The product is a set of five vintage 1960s Georges Briard Muddled Wisdom Owl Highball Glasses, made in California. These round, hand-blown glasses have a capacity of 8 oz each and feature a decorative owl pattern, perfect for all occasions. With a glossy finish and a vibrant multicolor design, these highball glasses are a charming piece of mid-century modern barware.
These look a lot to me like Georges Briard but I cannot find a signature on them anywhere. These were found in a local estate that had a lot of very nice collectible barware. I picked these out because they were very unique and the color stood out especially. Everything seems to be in excellent condition with the exception of one tiny mark that I’m seeing on the bottom of the ice bucket and I don’t know if it might be a blow mark. But I’ve circled it in one of the photographs it’s very tiny but you can see it from both the inside and from underneath. A measuring tape was used so that you can see the size the ice bucket is 5 inches in height and the glasses are 6 inches in height. Your items will arrive properly packaged, safely, quickly, and always insured.
