This is a very cool lamp. I was told this was a Majestic but I cant find any markings on this that says so. It has aging and wear and works beautifully. Taken out of the home of the original purchasers that bought it almost 70 years ago. Please see photos to determine exact description and condition for yourself. From bottom of base to top of shade is approx 69 inches. Is exactly as found. Original plug and wire which are still in great working order. Not all dried up and cracked. Thank you for looking. Maintains the Original Demi-Sphere Molded Shade with Brass Tone Trim. Round Flat Brass-Toned Modernist Hardware Adds Superb. Incredibly Well Designed and Constructed. Here’s an incredible piece of classic mid-century Danish modern design. It’s a Floor Lamp made by the Laurel Lamp Company in the 1960’s and is called the TULIP. Has their paper label inside the fixture. Heavy weighted square satin chrome metal base measures 10″X10″. It stands 68.5 to top of the shade. The pole looks like real teak wood? Satin chrome lamp fixture has rim cut in swooping style that holds that milky white heavy glass flower-shaped shade upright. All original and overall condition is excellent. The base has some tarnish and minor plating loss. Pole, fixture and shade are perfect. Great visual appeal and the ultimate floor lamp for the MCM look. Local pick-up available and I’ll consider a meet-up for New England buyers.
