Signed with original label to underside of base. Some loss to finish on the base seen in photos. Shade has areas of discoloration but is free of major damage. Lamp is in working condition. FEATURED: A very scarce Mid Century amazing double cone, dual arm table light, possibly by Stilnovo or Laurel, we believe, in gorgeous vintage condition, with rotating aluminum cones, brass plated moving arms, solid base and that fantastic look on any surface, lighting up your area with elegance and that great Mid Century style. Maker unknown, but obviously someone with a great modern design eye and great taste in home/office lighting, very Stilnovo or Laurel in looks, but during this Golden Era of Design, there were other great lighting companies producing super lights like this.. We loved the many ways the brass arms could be adjusted, as well as the aluminum cones, giving one so many different lighting effects and angles, both atmospheric as well as practical. This also has a dual off/on switch, so one side only can be on, or both at the same time, your choice of the moment. Want a cool, sleek, sophisticated wowza of a lamp, one that you will not see anywhere else, at any price? This would be it. MEASURES: Base is: 14 inches long, 6 inches wide, 1.75 inches high. Aluminum double cone shades: each are 10.5 ” long, 5″ diameter (section with light inside) and 3.25 diameter. Brass arms are 10 inches long, raise to height of 10 inches. With shades pointing out, 26 across from opening of large cone to the other opening across. Both cone shades rotate 360 degrees, and tilt straight down and can point straight up. The lights turn on/off individually as well as together. Both arms and cones are on ball jointed swivels; the arms are less flexible than the cones. Please see photos for some of the angles. Base is covered with old black felt in good condition, original working electricals in good condition also. Some age and use-related wear, minor surface scratches and age effects noted to arms; base has noted wear, scratches, missing color to brass finish, but we feel this does not detract from the overall beauty of this rare lamp. This would be strikingly elegant on a mantel as well as a desk or sideboard, and really makes a unique statement in any decor. This teak writing desk designed by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun Mobelfabrik Denmark is perfectly suitable for free-standing use, with several compartments at the frontside of the desk and a bookcase and cabinet on the back. Though very modern in design, this desk has many beautifully carved details. A fine example of Scandinavian Modern craftsmanship. Wear is consistent with age and use. Avocado Green Gerald Thurston Cricket desk Lamp! These lamps in good condition are becoming very collectible. The lamp is in good vintage shape with some missing brass coating on original knobs and the top surface of the v-shaped base. The fiberglass shade has no cracks or chips however it has subtle discolorations on the top of the lamp from old light bulb heat. Three original-style clips have been hand-fabricated in stainless steel. After hours of research, located a company which made a custom diffuser. This Cricket is ready to plug in and enjoy! Both side screws and knobs are original and threads are not stripped however this design is top heavy on the cord side and likes to flip up. General information: I recommend placing it where you don’t need to move it a lot and always tighten screws gently. Please remember that pre-owned items have may have surface scratches and wear areas. The photos are a large part of the description. Vintage Mid-Century Modern Desk and Matching Chair by the Rarest of Designers… We understand this is a Florida Furniture Industries Desk with Original Matching Chair! This set was Designed by a very important and very prolific Mid-Century Modern Furniture Designer, who was known as one of the “Top 10 Furniture Designers in the World” from the 1940’s through 1960’s. According to the estate we got this from it is made by Luther Draper. They had other pieces of his in the estate signed Florida Furniture etc. The desk is not signed as far as we can see. First Quality maker and wonderful Danish Modern Lines. A partial list would include, Drexel Heritage, Henredon, Florida Furniture Industries, Eastern Kodak, Abraham & Straus, Phillips-Davis, Founders Furniture, Boling Chair Company, to name just a few! Designed and manufactured probably in Italy, in 1950s. The lamp needs 1 x E27 screwfit bulb. 17.71” / 45 cm, diameter lamp shade 13.77” / 35 cm. Very good overall vintage condition. A Mid-Century Modern desk, which is either made by Eames for Herman Miller or not. Could it be a one-off? Made by employees of Herman Miller? There were 4 signed Eames Esu wall units that each of the children took. We were told by the family that it was an “Eames Esu Herman Miller Desk”. As you can see, it is the exact image of the 3-drawer Eames Esu D-10 desk. The only difference is the top does not overhang as much nor does it have the holes in the frame. Any help from the web would be gratefully accepted and posted! We know this to be an authenitc vintage desk. Minor wear to surface. Paint on legs could use some help. Overall very good working condition. Measures 54 1/2″ wide, 20 1/4″ deep, and 30 tall. We sell everything bought from estates directly to you. We do not restore anything.
