Sensational vintage lounge chair by acclaimed and collected Mid Century modernist designer, Adrian Pearsall, in chromed flat-bar and wood, low slung, deep and luxuriously comfortable having clean lines and chic form. An elegant piece of design both in craftsmanship and beauty. Fabric is somewhat dirty and really should be replaced, though it can be used as is. This rare planter box has sat in a seldom used living room with other Pearsall pieces since they were custom ordered in the late 60s early 70s (Picture of sofa shown for reference). Measuring 16×16 inches and 13 inches tall the piece is in very good vintage condition. Some old water marks along top edge, two small chips on base which the original owner filled in with some black paint. Looks like it might have had a insert of some kind to hold soil originally. Exquisite and Rare Rosewood Herman Miller. Eames DCM Dining Chair. These don’t turn up very often. A rare rosewood DCM chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. Rosewood was not a standard veneer/finish choice and was only available by custom special order. Manufactured in the 50’s – 60’s, in USA. The chrome frame and wooden panels are in excellent vintage condition! Amazingly, there is NO PITTING or RUST on the metal! The finish is not original but exceptionally, professionally reapplied! The shock mounts are also upgraded. Base retains all original self leveling floor glides. (They are made from nylon to work on various floor surfaces). And they are in pristine condition! The color and the grain pattern are spectacular! Due to the carefully researched proportions and angles of the molded plywood, this chair is an extremely comfortable one for long durations. (Two Philips Head screws). Charles & Ray Eames (Designer). DCM (dining. Chair. Metal). Mid Century Modern (Of the Period). Wear consistent with age and use. I have for sale a genuine vintage Herman Miller padded modern chair. The model is EC-127. Designed by Charles Eames. The back and the seat have vinyl covers. The frame/legs are made of solid chrome metal. Please note that the seat has a torn hole. Approximate dimensions are: 30.5″ tall, 20″ wide, and 21 deep. This is an iconic, masterfully designed, high quality furniture. That is in good condition overall. I believe orange color is hard to find.
