Inside finished with a combination of yellow felt (top and bottom) and red lacquer streaked with black (sides). Underside of box finished with black felt. Signed PE 6(6). They are known to have been made in two distinct forms with two styles of surface modeling (simple monolithic thumb-like impressions/swirls or various patterns including applied “gems”) though all are unique.
