Up for sale is a MUST SEE!!!! It is a 17.5″ (to the bottom of the socket, 20″ to the top of the socket) RARE Atomic Age Mid Century Modern MCM Black & White Metal Brass Table Lamp. I’m not sure what this shape would be called. I can’t find another like it to help me out. It is in GOOD to VERY GOOD Condition for it’s age. It has a couple of tiny scratches as seen in the photos and needs a good cleaning. I only did a light touch up. Please look at the pictures. It was probably to keep the lamp from scratching the table. I have other lamps listed this month, but, this one is my FAVORITE! It is CRAZY off almost all of the time on the larger items. Don’t forget the “Best Offer” option. And, I DO combine.

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage atomic era table lamp. The base is constructed of iron, and there are two ceramic inserts, one rests at the very top and serves as a shallow dish – perhaps for some faux plants, and the other insert is also ceramic and encloses the light bulb. Both ceramic pieces are off-white in color, with thin black paint swirls throughout. The lamp stands approx. The ceramic dish / bowl at the top has a diameter of approx. 11, and it is approx. The ceramic encasement around the light bulb measures approx. 8″ tall x 6″ in diameter. The distance between the legs is approx. Condition: Excellent condition – no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, bends, dents, dings, etc. The interior side of the dish at the top shows some minor signs of light discoloration from age and use – nothing objectionable whatsoever (see photos)… We’re solely mentioning it for accuracy. The electrical wiring is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc, and it looks to be original to the lamp. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked prior to long-term use. NOTE : The lamp will be packaged with extreme care. Stunning Mid Century Space Age / Atomic 25 Danish Modern Teak Table Lamp & Unique Fiberglass Shade w/ Chenille Trim 1950’s. Fantastic design with two stems / sockets Both sockets operate independently. Excellent Condition works perfectly fiberglass and chenille trim in great condition with no rips or tears on. 25¼” x 15″ x 6″ Shade: 15″ x 8¼” x 5″ Lamp (no shade): 25¼” x 9″ x 6. D E S C R I P T I O N. This is a beautifully designed and highly decorative vintage Mid-Century Atomic / Space Age Danish Modern teak table lamp with unique fiberglass shade manufactured in the 1950’s. The lamp has two brass toned stems with an electrical socket on each end. It has a teak base with 4 wooden feet on the underside and a teak crescent moon centerpiece. The original fiberglass shade has a beautiful chenille trim on the top and bottom. This is a beautifully decorative lamp that will enhance and complement your mid-century Danish modern or space age / atomic decor perfectly. It is in great condition and works perfectly. The wood centerpiece & base have some extremely minor wear. There is some very minor tarnishing on the brass tone stems. The fiberglass shade is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. It is nice and solid. The chenille trim has no rips, tears, or missing pieces (see pics). The electrical cord is in terrific condition and there is a pull chain on each socket that turns the bulbs on or off. The lamp when assembled measures 25¼” high, 15″ long and 6 wide. The shade is 8¼” high, 15″ long and 5 wide. The lamp itself is 25¼” high, 9″ long and 6 wide. The lamp is super nice and clean and ready to be displayed. This is a stunning vintage medium scale model V-1318 table lamp with a white frosted Italian glass egg-shaped sculptured globe by The Laurel Lamp Company! It is hand blown and elegant. Stripped down to a simple, bare form with a metal base. When unlit the globe has a lovely, soft white frosted presence and when lit it gives off a warm amber glow almost as calming as the perfect evening sunset. It appears to have the original cord, in fine shape, with a newer dimmer switch. It is in great vintage condition with small scuffs and marks to be expected from a 50+ year old lamp. It measures approximately 11″ tall by 8″ diameter. This lamp is definitely what you need to set up just the right ambience to set the mood for that romantic dinner or to simply give a comforting, peaceful glow to your surroundings. It will be beautiful on a sofa or console table in your living room, on an accent table in your bedroom, or in any room that needs a welcoming, wonderful display of mid-century modern egg-straordinary presentation. Laurel Lamp Company was founded by Max and Harold Weiss in Newark NJ and was active from 1946 until 1981. President Harold Weiss introduced the company to Murano Italian glass in 1971 and an overseas alliance was formed. They collaborated with many famed designers including Richard Barr and Pierre Cardin. By 1979 Laurel had showrooms in New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, North Carolina, and Los Angeles. Weiss was the driving force behind the success of Laurel Lamp’s iconic designs. He passed away in 2014. There is limited information on the company however, there is a Laurel Lamp Foundation non-profit organization website, and their fixtures and lamps are sought after still today. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a RARE vintage MAJESTIC table lamp with its original accompanying fiberglass shades. The lamp base is constructed of banded brass components, and has both off-white and black wooden accent pieces. The shades are an off-white color, and they have brown squiggly filaments running throughout. There is an on/off toggle switch located on the base which allows the lamp 3-way functionality: either one or the other sockets can be lit up independently of the other, or both can be set to light up at the same time. There is a protective cork pad on the underside of the base which looks like it may have been a replacement. Not sure if they original Majestic label is underneath that as we have not made an attempt to remove it to further investigate. This lamp will make a great addition to any mid century modern interior setting! With the fiberglass shades attached, the lamp stands an impressive 35″ tall x 23″ wide. The distance to the upper light socket is approx. 27 high, and the lower socket approx. Each of the fiberglass shades measures approx. 13″ wide x 8″ tall x 8 deep. The black lacquered base at the bottom measures approx. 11″ wide x 7″ deep x 1.75 tall. Condition: While not perfect, overall we’d say the lamp is in very good, all-original vintage condition for its age. The banded brass components are in great shape – they shine nicely. The white wood component shows a little color variation between the front and back sides – possibly due to sunlight – we’re not 100% certain. The black wood components show a tiny amount of color loss, and it looks as though the base may have had color loss that was touched up at one point in time. None of this is really major, nor does it affect anything – we’re solely making mention of it for accuracy. Moving onto the shades. The front and back panels of the shades are in great shape. The upper-most part of the panels have a few cracks in the material. Everything is intact and tight with respect to the cracks, and they can only be noticed if you are looking down at them, and even then they are hard to see because they blend away with the brown squiggle filaments in the shade material (see photos). These cracks most likely resulted from a previous owner not putting on / taking off the shades with care. Aside from that, the lacing is intact on both shades and there are no burn marks or anything like that on either of them. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape. We would still strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use as the lamp is vintage, just to be safe. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition in its current state. Both parcels will be fully insured for the final value of the sale. Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a seldom seen atomic tripod lamp designed by Ferris-Shacknove. Circa’50 /’60s. The lamp base is constructed of iron with small wooden atomic ball feet. The shade is constructed of textured cotton over paper. We have included an advertisement from an old Furniture Forum catalog for reference (see photo). It’s a stylish atomic lamp that’ll look fantastic in any mid century modern setting! With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The shade alone measures approx. 7″ tall x 16″ in diameter. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket measures approx. The distance between each of the atomic ball feet measures approx. Condition: Overall, give its age, we’d say the lamp is in very good condition. Aside from the light bulb socket being a little loose and needing some tightening, the base is free from having any issues. It is structurally solid, and displays very nicely. The shade is original to the lamp. It has some minor faint areas of discoloration (possibly old moisture marks or something of that nature). We have not attempted to clean the shade in any manner, so we are uncertain as to whether or not they’ll come out. The shade can easily be turned to have those marks facing the back (see photos). The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good condition – no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is b. All sales are final.
