Ultra Rare 1950s Mid Century Modern LIGHTOLIER ATOMIC TRIPOD BRASS LAMP GERALD THURSTON RARE. It measures 26″ High and the Shade is 16″ Diameter. It’s all original (including, shade and sockets and wiring) and works well – 3 light switch option – only 1 bulb, only 2 or all 3 – as demonstrated on photos. However, rewiring is strongly recommended. Shade shows wear – see close up photos. The diffuser has burns from light bulbs (from someone placing it upside down in the past) – photo 9. Rare triangular corner table from the Brandon range by G plan (E Gomme). This table was only made between 1953 – 1955. In light oak finish. Designed by Victor Bramwell Wilkins. Now in excellent condition having been stripped and re-finished in a hard wearing lacquer. 68cm Long x 37cm Wide x 40cm High. Viewing / Collection from Southport PR9 or courier available at cost. Please send your postcode for a quote. We use state-of-the-art water borne lacquers as used by manufacturers. They have been certified to FIRA Standard 6250 for surfaces in heavy/severe use and are superior to any oil or wax. The finishing process we have developed maintains the timber’s colour and warmth and enhances figure, grain definition and chatoyance. On Antiques we use traditional French polishing methods. Please study the photos and wording as they form part of the description. Our items are genuine vintage and as such may have signs of previous use commensurate with age.
