Vintage Rare Hammered Metal Ikea Lamp Mid Century Modern Scandinavian Design. This is an outstandingly rare, vintage Ikea table lamp. Introduced in 1996, the base is hammered brass finished in tin chrome with etched rings around it. The shade attachment is a standard Ikea attachment so it will be easy to fit a shade to it. The style is representative of the Scandinavian design aesthetic. The design is likely a tribute to the art deco sculptural vases of Swedish designer Sylvia Stave for the CG Hallberg firm. The lamp is in good working order. It stands at about 10.5 inches tall at the top of the fixture and is approximately 7.3 inches in diameter.
