A fabulous, rare vintage find, this 1959 Egghead discrete storage jar from Schmid was designed and signed by Mid Century Artist La Gardo Tackett. This minimalist’HOUSEFLY’ egg head storage jar was made to store condoms in a discrete manner, and was marketed at the back of Playboy and Esquire magazines. Made with many different, unique faces, this is THE gift to give to that someone who has everything and has eclectic taste! It’s anything but a plain storage jar; the funky charm of this Tackett original will encourage you to display it prominently even if there’s nothing in it. The jar is white ceramic with black paint. CONDITION: It’s in good condition with a layer of crazing, and measures 8.5 tall. Missing cork at bottom but still a great rare display piece.
