Rare Hard to find Solid Walnut Nesting Table Set (3 tables) made by Poul Jeppesen Imported from Denmark. Smallest table is labeled underneath with a sticker that says’P. Jeppesen Mobelfabrik Store Heddinge. Also has a branded PJ in a circle, Made in Denmark branding, and a black label with Danish Furniture Makers Control circle. Poul Jeppesen was a furniture maker of quality pieces in Denmark between the 1940’s and 1960’s. He produced the designs of Grete Jalk and Ole Wanscher, in addition to many lesser known designers. These tables are a Grete Jalk design that were made in several different options. Teak with formica tops. There tables are solid walnut, of beautiful craftmanship. Dating from the 1960’s, they are in wonderful condition with some marks from use over the past 55 years, patina as called in the furniture industry. The tables have tracks in the sides for the smaller ones to slide in place. The smallest table is slightly lighter in color, but is solid walnut and an original delivered that way! We have the original receipt and furniture catalog for these when they were ordered from Denmark. Copies will be included with the tables. Lg 22.25″ L x 14.5″ W x 19.5 H.
