Vintage Pyrex “Atomic Eyes” bowl in excellent vintage condition. Bowl is the larger (403) size, measuring 8.5″ across and 4″ tall. There are a few small spots in the paint where its worn, which is shown in the photos. Bowl has typical utensil marking/wear. Bowl is pretty rare and very hard to find. The sugar canister has a chip on the upper top side above the indented handle. The sugar lid has a chip on the inside lip-does not show when lid is on the canister. There is a flea bite chip on the bottom -same side as the top chip. The tea canister has a crack – no repairs have been done. Please examine all photos carefully. RARE ABINGDON Art Deco Trojan Warrior Roman Soldier Mid Century Modern Head Vase
A V ERY RARE PIECE OF ABINGDON POTTERY. #499 Trojan Warrior Roman Soldier Head Vase, most likely 1940s. Abingdon pottery has made high-quality porcelain plumbing fixtures since 1908. Between 1934 and 1950 the plumbing companys innovative solution to scarcity of building jobs was to shift about half of its output producing porcelain art wares, largely to make handsome vases. The unique aspect of Abingdons ceramics, by comparison to its competitors, was the use of very high firing kilns creating vitreous porcelain objects. Certain clays, such as those used in better plumbing fixtures, shrink about 10 to 12% in the heat and become watertight. Flower vases produced by Abingdon never leak or leave damp spots, but are markedly heavier than most other depression-era vases. Also unlike many of its Depression-era competitors, Abingdon Pottery made only high-quality display products, not dinner wares or low-cost decorative curios. Abingdons single-fired vases not only remain physically robust today but their designs tend toward linear shapes with rich solid glaze colors. This particular head vase is very rare and is in the desirable white or ivory color. Its Art Deco style is timeless! Measuring at the widest points, the vase is 7 tall and wide. It is 2 1/4 deep. Condition is excellent, it has fine crazing throughout. Please review the last four photos. The red arrows are pointing to any marks on the vase. There are two minor flicks on each bottom corner and there are two tiny dark spots on the side glaze. In the last photo, the arrow is pointing to a crazing line. These are very minor and are mentioned for accuracy. Please ask any questions before purchasing, as this is a final sale. Extremely Hard to Find and Very Sought Out Viking Glass Owl Fairy 2-Piece Glass Candle Holder. Color is Clear/crystal and one of the very hardest to find these days! Owl is in really amazing condition for its age! The glass is perfectly clear and I only noticed a bit of rough glass along the top edge of the top piece. No flea bites, chips or any other defects or repairs. From what I can tell, the roughness on the top edge is very common on these little beauties! Vintage Lackner Curvaline Neon Luccite Art Deco MCM Desk / Mantle Clock. The clock measures 9.5 inches across 7 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches deep. The Lucite has no cracks but there are several light scratches on the lucite that could be buffed out. The silk screen clock face shows some flaking around the 1 and 3. 1950/60s Rodney Kent Starline Black Pyrex Double Casseroles with metal warming rack and candles. This listing is for a double warming rack with two black 0503 Pyrex 1-1/2 quart rectangular casserole dishes. They have a brass tone lid with white knobs and the metal rack has white ribbed plastic handles. The metal rack has expected wear. One of the white handles has a small crack in it as seen in the 6th picture. The pyrex dishes are in very nice condition with minor wear on the bottom corners due to being placed in the wire rack. The rest of the dishes are fine with no scratches in side and no notable marks on the sides. The brass tone tops have some spotting and wear but no dents. The knobs are good and not loose. The width from handle to handle is 18. The width from leg to to leg is 11. The height is 8. It is very rare to find these with the brass tone tops or with double rack.
