Very rare wonderful condition 1970s vintage Le Creuset Enzo Mari “La Mama” #23 – 3.5 quart dutch oven with cast iron base and original lid, in gorgeous shiny Black. No cracks, some small enamel chips on edges. Inner cooking surface is smooth & shiny with faint surface scratches. Super glossy– in fact, it’s so glossy that the light plays on it and produces lots of reflections in the pics. Some storage wear on the outside, which is visible in pics by using the zoom-in feature. Note some surface oxidation on the cast iron base, which doesn’t affect use but can be removed with Bar Keeper’s Friend if so desired. In good shape; used but not abused, in my opinion. Some era-typical production goofs present such as: enamel pops, mold flaws, paint over-spray or under-spray, etc. Clean and ready for use. Good faith efforts for accurate pictures & description.
