Rare mid-century king-size bookcase headboard, made by Pulaski Furniture in their Contour 70s series, but was often mis-attributed to Witco as the Oceanic series. The sculptural series has a Polynesian Hawaiian tiki vibe and was featured in sets on the Mad Men series. The headboard is in very good vintage condition, ready to be the focal point of any MCM bedroom. The headboard has two large storage areas on each side of the bed, behind the carvings. The center section of the headboard is removable and can be take out to use the headboard for a queen size bedframe and mattress if desired. The headboard has two built-in lights that can be switched on and off (see photo of light turned on). It also includes the king metal bed frame (no shown) that is bolted on. I also have the matching dresser and mirror plus gentleman’s vertical chest which I plan to list shortly. Dimensions: 104 x 11 x 44 inches tall. Retro vintage brasilia danish space age mod.
