Fantoni clearly was having fun here (perhaps a little too much fun) with this popular series, not nearly as high-minded and as conceptually lofty as his famous, otherworldly glazed ceramic vessels, which made him internationally famous. Signed and with the original affixed Gump’s San Francisco, California luxury retailer’s branded label still on the back. There’s not a whisper on it.
