ORIGINAL 1960’S AUSTRALIAN POTTERY BARSONY MODERNIST BLACK LADY WORKING LAMP HAS “LAVA” EMBOSSED WRAP OVER CLOTH MOUNTED ON A WOODEN BASE WITH ORIGINAL RAFFIA SHADE IN GOOD CONDITION HAS SOME MINOR GLAZE NICKS/FLAKES ON THE BLACK SKIN. We have on offer an original Australian Pottery very SCARCE GEORGE BARSONY 1960’S MODERNIST BLACK LADY Lamp with a “larva” wrap over cloth mounted on a wooden base & with an experimental raffia shade. This is the first model we have ever encountered in our shop & we have been trading nearly 30 years. According to the previous owner the lamp had an affixed paper sticker. Is 37 cms wide x 58 cms in height. Weight is 2,281 grams. As part of their history and journey through time these items may have acquired some wear, light marks or small minor defects. VERY RARE HUGE JENS QUISTGAARD DANSK DESIGNS DENMARK VINTAGE 17 EXTRA LARGE STAVED TEAK SALAD BOWL,’ THE LARGEST JENS QUISTGAARD FOR DANSK STAVED TEAK. Vintage Danish Modern Dansk teak woodenware. 6″ Height x 17″ full Width x 15 rim Diameter. As close to perfect as any vintage item gets. Simply out-of-this-world condition and with fine, well-realized form, outstanding color and surfaces. Without a single condition issue to report. Huge, at a full 17 in diameter, monumental and in simply pristine, nearly immaculate shape. There are no stains, flea-bites, hairline cracks, splits along the staved teak pieces, bruises in the exterior teak sidewalls or interior basin. The staved teak pieces are wonderfully chosen and demonstrate purposefully chosen teak component parts, that would illustrate the interior beauty of tropical teak hardwood and its cross-graining and variation of color, fluctuating between chestnut, chocolate brown, sepia brown, burnt sienna, ocher brown, honey, amber and gold. RARE JENS QUISTGAARD VINTAGE DANSK DESIGNS DENMARK , RED ENAMEL COFFEE POT, W/LID, WHITE NYLON CORD WRAPPED HANDLE & BLACK INTERIOR PARTS. Mid-20th century Danish design. This is an earlier vintage Jens Quistgaard designed red enamel coffee pot for Dansk Designs Denmark, which has a slightly creamier red enamel finish than the later red enamel finish of Dansk Designs IHQ France. It’s stamped on the red enamel base plate with the maker’s mark in permanent black ink. Vintage water/juice enamel pitchers by Jens Quistgaard are rare enough and very hard to find but upright, tall, enamel coffee pots with the innards and the lid, well, is about next to impossible to find, even for those of us who have sought Danish enamelware out for decades. The exterior red enamel surfaces are nearly pristine, except for what appears to be the slightest bit of enamel loss right at the top rear extreme of the body, right in front of the handle. The pot otherwise has pristine red enamel surfaces, as well as white interior enamel, free from flea-bites, staining or enamel loss. The white nylon cord wrap on the handle is also in unblemished condition and doesn’t suffer any discoloration or loss. The red enamel lid with Kobenstyle cooling handles is present and clean. Both black interior parts are present but unfortunately the original glass percolator is missing (as found). Exceedingly hard-to-find and in really spectacular, nearly unblemished, pristine condition. 9 ¾ ” Height x 6″ Width (Spout to Handle). 8 ½” Height (w/o lid) x 5″ Base width.
